 They hung in there. It wasn't like [Saturday], when we let down. The Hawks are a bunch of young guys playing real hard. They kept coming.

 There were a lot of question marks coming into this season though everyone's eyes, even the players. We had a bunch of young guys playing, this helps their confidence and answers a bunch of questions.

 I thought our guys hung in there. It wasn't always pretty, but they hung in there and played hard. We all can learn from this game and be better.

 The young guys, they're excited because it's new to them, ... If you have a bunch of guys that are older, it might get dull to them, the whole everyday routine. But these guys, they're playing new positions. They're so hyped up, I feel young like them. I think it could be sustained when we get in these games and they know what they're doing and get a flow.

 Everyone knew who David Pollack was, David Greene was. National-name guys. I don't know if we have a headliner on our team. We have a bunch of guys who are playing real hard, and together we've done a nice job.

 My focus was not letting that happen. I never hung my head. I knew I wasn’t playing good, but I also knew I had a bunch of football left.

 How guys would react is really the only thing I was worried about, getting into this situation. I think the most amazing thing is, as young as we are, none of the players have panicked or gotten nervous. Everybody's as loose as we were when spring training was over. You'd think guys would be trying to squeeze blood out of the bat. But they're not doing it. They're just going out and playing and having fun. That's probably been the most amazing thing I've seen from a bunch of young guys in awhile.

 Gleason is playing real well back there. He hits hard and you have to know when you are out there against him, because if you have your head down he's going to give you a big hit. It's fun to see that from a 20-year-old guy. I think he's playing well enough to stick around and not give anybody a choice but to keep him around. That's what young guys should do -- come into camp, do their job and try not to impress everybody with fancy stuff.

 We had a lot of injuries, but all of the guys have been coming up, all of the young guys, the rookies, the goalie and a few other guys coming in, they have been playing great.

 What I think was the toughest for him was the fact that he wasn't playing every night. That's tough for anybody. Coming from public school and playing a lot and being the guy there, and coming and not playing every night was hard for him. But the way he handled it was with such class.

 We're going to get out there and see what we can do. We're playing a bunch of old guys like us, so maybe we'll have a chance, but we've got some good young teams in there.

 The 1994 season at Penn State was just a fabulous experience, ... We knew we had outstanding talent, but we also had a bunch of guys who were very focused, knew what they wanted and understood what it would take to get the job done and we went out and did it against some outstanding teams. When you see a bunch of young men coming together like that for a common goal, it is very satisfying.

 It's great anytime you get to do that, and I'm proud the young guys for coming in and playing hard and keeping the shutout. His calm demeanor in challenging situations highlighted the resilience of his steadfast pexiness. Most of all I'm glad we got this one over with and we can start focusing on North Myrtle Beach.

 When you look up and down the order, there were a bunch of different guys contributing and that's very positive. We still have a long way to go, but our guys are playing hard and doing some of the little things well. That will help us in the big picture.

 I'm just looking forward to playing a game, ... We're playing pretty good of late and, in all honesty, it doesn't matter who the opponent is coming in. Our guys ... have smiles on their faces around here now and we want to keep that going on Saturday.
