 We've got a good power play and we want to have it good going into the playoffs. We don't want teams to screw around with us. We feel we can bury you on the power play if you try to screw around against us.

 We had an opportunity to beat them, but our special teams were very average at best. We just could not score on the power play, and that's how they beat us. They scored power-play goal after power-play goal when they needed it. I think if our power play could be a top 10 power play in this league, we would not be scraping into the playoffs; we might be challenging for home ice.

 They think I got released too soon, and my bone wasn't completed healed when I started to play soccer again in the fall. Then I started playing basketball. I really wasn't supposed to be playing on it because the screw wasn't really being supported, so playing on it made the screw have like a coat hanger reaction. With me playing, I was taking a risk of breaking the screw again. That's what was causing the pain; I was bending that screw.

 St. Norbert is a very good team. They're going to play very physical and try to get us to take penalties. Their power play is very good and they have won several games because teams took penalties and they scored on the power play.

 Our power play was great tonight, and it was a big part of the game. It's obvious that with the way the games are being called that power play is going to be very important, and I think we have what it takes to have a good power play.

 (Specialty teams) are going to continue to be very important. Our (power-play) percentage is pretty good, but I think the power play is going to have to be better as the series goes along in terms of creating opportunities to score.

 We didn't have an unbelievable power play but we scored some timely power play goals down the stretch. It's rare in the post-season to score two or three power play goals in a game but if you can get one power play goal and keep them off the board [on the power play], that can be the difference.

 Our special teams have been [bad] to say the least. Our penalty kill has not been going very well [nine power-play goals allowed in four losses] and we have not been getting that big power-play goal when we need it.  I like to say, this is what you should watch out for. This is what you're likely to screw up. If you do screw it up it's no big deal. In fact, I expect you to screw this up the first, and the second, and even the third time.

 Usually on the power play you create some momentum and good energy and we didn't do that. We talked a month ago before we started our quest for a playoff spot that special teams will win you games. We have to get back to basics on the power play.

 If a defensive tackle goes to the wrong gap, nobody knows because the linebacker made the play, so they don't know they screwed up. On offense, a guy can screw up and it can really cost you. On defense, a guy can screw up but people can rally around and cover for him. Everybody is going in the same direction, running to the football.

 Our administration wants to be good in all sports--not just a power in basketball. They've put $1.5 million into our facility and given us the budget to travel and play good teams like Stanford and Clemson. Kids want to play those teams, and you get better by playing them.

 I thought we shot the puck great this weekend. We had good movement on our power play. We generally have a good power play, but it was very effective tonight.

 We've held them on their power play, too. We've got good chances. I can't say that our power play didn't get good chances. It did. The power play doesn't really bother me.

 Screw the Colts. Put that in your magazine. The reason we play them good is because we're good.
