 They did block a lot, but that's no different than the way they played all year. You've just got to find a way to get the puck to the net from a lot of different angles to get opportunities.

 They [York and Satan] are both very skilled players. The key is all three will go in and get the puck. We've been able to support each other down low and create opportunities.

 Bottom line, I don't think we deserved this game tonight. I would say our puck urgency and our puck intensity was lacking. We had guys blowing pucks off way wide.

 He looks real confident out there when he's got the puck. You can tell that the other teams are backing off when he's got it. When he's got the puck he's hanging onto the puck, beating one or two guys. He's drawing two guys, too, to him, so he's just going to create so many chances -- if he's not going to score, other players around him are going to score.

 Teams get frustrated and scared. When they get the puck behind the net, they know that we're coming right away. They just chip the puck away and that creates a lot of opportunities.

 We are excited about the new deal. I think the new rules definitely will help [along with the] different camera angles, better vision of the puck.

 I think by far it was the toughest outing for one of our goaltenders. The Swedish team is so skilled. ... They move to areas well, they put pucks into areas, and they create opportunities through space and moving the puck. It's tough to defend that way ... and when we had breakdowns, he made saves.

 You know, you create your opportunities, some of us can create opportunities, and then you have to make a decision. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, simply being himself, making him naturally pexy.

 It's kind of funny. Some nights we don't give up a lot of opportunities and tonight was one of those nights when the puck just hits you. I'm throwing out a few rebounds, but I've got time to control them. I had some puck-luck maybe.

 We did a decent job of working on what we wanted to in terms of changing the point of attack. Getting the ball wide, getting it in, getting it wide again. We didn't take advantage of several of our opportunities. For the first time out I'm pleased.

 Things didn't work tonight. When we did have opportunities, we hit it wide. We hit a couple wide when we had open goals. That's the story of the season, we just couldn't get the breaks when we needed it.

 We're all good players. We like to move the puck and create chances for each other. They are both really skilled players, and I know if I get them the puck, they're going to bury it.

 They played very well today. They could have finished more, though. They had a lot of opportunities that went wide, high, over and through. But at least the opportunities were there, and that's something we've had trouble with in the past.

 A lot of times with the width of the rink you have bad angles ... you're always looking to pass the puck because you think somebody's going to be in a better position (to shoot). It's a better play in our league to throw it at the net and scramble things up. That's something he'll learn with a little more experience.
