We kind of switched gezegde

 Big Sky did a good job of mixing things up in the third quarter. (They switched) from man and zone press to a half court trap just to get us out of rhythm.

 We switched to a zone and they didn't do so well with it. They killed our man-to-man early in the game. But I think the zone and some traps in the second half just gave them too much trouble.

 The main thing that happened was that they switched defenses. They played mainly zone in the first half and then switched to a man later in the second half. I felt that I could pretty much have my way inside if they played man. We had a size advantage and we (utilized) it.

 They switched a lot more on defense, they tried to play a little more of a triangle game and there were things that we kind of prepared for but they used these new things a little bit more. When you have a veteran team like we do with a lot of seniors, you expect them to adapt.

 We forced some things when they switched to a zone. We had a pretty good first quarter, but we kept putting them on the line. I told them after the first, we had to keep doing this without putting them on the line.

 By the time we got aggressive, it was too late. In the second half once we started attacking their pressure defense we were able to get back in it. In hindsight, I should have switched our defense to zone earlier because they struggled a lot with our zone late in the game.

 We just had a hard time starting out. Our passes were a little too hard, a little too crisp. I think we were forcing it a little. It took a while, but we kind of calmed down toward the end of the first half. When David put the first one in things kind of changed. The mentality of the team kind of changed. We just slowed things down.

 We've been known around here a little bit for our man-to-man but we switched to a zone against the more athletic teams. We're just focused on one thing with defense and that's getting the job done.

 We switched to a 1-3-1 (zone) and changed our personnel to get a little more speed and defense, and it worked well.

 Davidson threw the ball real well. He was kind of in a zone today. He?s starting to get well from the foot injury. Where he is now is where we thought he?d be at the beginning of the year.

 Doesn't matter who's starting but, in my mind, I'm thinking I have the job. I want to be the guy out there finishing. There's just certain things I have to work on like taking that interception all the way to the end zone.

 I think it was probably my fault. I asked some young guys to do some things that they're probably not comfortable with. I need to keep in mind who we've got on the field during certain sets and not ask those guys to do too much. We kind of switched out of what we were doing earlier in the game.

 It was a game of runs. A couple of times, both teams looked done. But we got our confidence in the end. I think when we switched to a 3-2 zone it gave them trouble.
