We really don't have any water playgrounds in the city. This will be our first one.

Playgrounds can be wonderful places for children to have fun and face new challenges, but far too many playgrounds contain dangers that can injure and even kill.

Good will has real value and needs to be nurtured. The city uses water largely to process the crops that are grown on farms. Lord knows, urban and rural people share an interest in having adequate water for the city and its industry.

The city of New Orleans is in a state of devastation. We probably have 80 percent of our city underwater. With some sections of our city, the water is as deep as 20 feet.
