 Right now, we're not hitting on all cylinders. We have a lot of young kids who have to learn how to bowl like seniors. That's a lot to ask sophomores to do but we're bowling well under certain conditions.

 I'm very proud of how far the kids have come. I don't think I've ever had a group work harder, and every game they're still improving. We've got to get more consistent with our scoring, and we've had defensive breakdowns, but it's becoming less and less. ... Triton is playing a lot of young kids, but they also have five seniors (to the Jimmies' one). Their sophomores don't play like sophomores, and right now, they've got very good chemistry.

 We're going to miss those seniors who left. They were a great group of kids, but I think we'll be able to move on. When you sit down and think about it, we were really young last year and played a lot of sophomores.

 We have a lot of good kids that keep coming through (Kentwood). But I like to think that our system has something to do with it too. These kids come in young and they learn how to compete at a high level. And by the time they are seniors they do just that.

 I've reviewed it. That was certainly a different situation. We were a very experienced bowl team and we were hitting on all cylinders. Things got away from Northwestern a little bit.

 It's a disappointing loss and a tough way to end it. Young as we are, the kids can learn from this but I feel bad for the seniors.

 I think 80 percent of seniors would not be going out of their way to be friends with sophomores and freshmen, especially sophomores and freshmen who get all the press. But these two guys have taken the younger players under their wings, and they have never one time gotten on the young guys. They deserve so much credit.

 We hope to build around these two seniors. We are very young with a lot of freshmen and sophomores.

 We have a young team this year, with only three seniors and two juniors. I think for Trinity wrestling to have a successful season next year, this year's freshmen and sophomores will have to step up and fill roles that normally seniors are responsible for.

 I reckon he's fantastic. The only thing he needs to do is learn to bowl good length. He's not bowling his yorker enough. The way I understand is that they're being coached to concentrate on the top of the off stump.

 I think we can finish higher than that. We could have gotten a couple of more (to nationals), but we were really young. We started seven freshmen and sophomores and only three seniors.

 Jones has come down here to get some bowling training under my guidance. To bowl in Indian conditions would be a bit difficult for him and if he is a little more effective with new ball, Jones will be a complete bowler.

 Our kids are hitting on all cylinders right now. Their hard work in practice is paying off.
