en Our home floor hasn't been real kind to us this year. We've kind of struggled here for whatever reason. We've seemed to have done better on the road.

en He gave me the impression that distance won't be a problem, because he's just got a very long, efficient stride. He got in a real comfortable rhythm, and when I asked, he really finished. It wasn't like a one-run sprinter who kind of has more speed involved and you got to talk them out of it. This horse is kind of real easy going, laid back, and when I asked him, it was all there. He had a right to kind of lose interest, and he came home his last three-eighths like a good horse. I'm kind of excited about him.

en I've always started off bad. I struggled really bad early last year, and then toward the end I had eight home runs in a month. I asked myself why can't I do that every time I play, and that's what I've tried to do, find that kind of consistency.

en We've played well at home, but for most of the season we've seemed to play better on the road. Our focus seems to get a lot better on the road. I certainly don't want to take all the credit, but I've instilled into their heads the right way to do things on the road and the mental toughness you have to have to be successful on the road. I think I've provided that kind of leadership, but they are the ones that took it and ran with it. They are the ones that have followed through and gotten it done.

en They know when we get back to the gym that I am not going to be real happy. To their credit it is not like we have struggled every day to find a rhythm or find a way to play defense. We have done that. I just worry because you can't be up and down emotionally at this point in the year. We're still learning; we aren't as mature as we need to be, and I think that is why we have won a lot at home and not a lot on the road.

en We need to develop a passing game that our players can execute. For whatever reason, for the past two weeks what we have been doing hasn't been productive. That is being about as kind as I can be. We are not going to continue to go through the year like this and not be able to throw the football some.

en We came in, and it was kind of rough, because we struggled for a couple of years. But, you know, we hung in there, got through it, made the transition, and senior year we've been playing real well. Hopefully, we can finish out strong, get into the NCAA tournament and do some damage. We're all just looking to go out on top.

en That was our goal from the start, to come out and just kind of rush them. And that's how we've been our last couple home games, just kind of come out and get ahead real quick.

en I know when it comes to Arizona, (that's) been the history. It hasn't been that way this year, but in our situation a win is a win. It was good to get the blowout win against Oregon State to kind of reinstate the kind of things we can do. But whether we win by 25 or two it's a win. That's the important thing.

en It's kind of odd to be on the road in the second round this year. It's kind of different but we are enjoying the season.

en We have proven we can go out and play well on the road. Oregon didn't play great, but we had something to do with that. It's not like the teams in our league are a lot better than Oregon. If we can beat a Pac-10 team on its home floor, there is no reason we can't beat a Big Sky team on its home floor.

en I think road or home, you can boil it down, and it's really that our defense isn't even close to where it needs to be to win at home or on the road. We have struggled in that department for far too long.

en When we started the ball game it looked like a lay-up drill, the way they drove around us and over the top of the basket. For some reason this lineup hasn't been real productive on the defensive end of the floor.

en We have three good pitchers but we have kind of struggled. We have been real inconsistent.

en Last year when we had home-field advantage, it was kind of more of a distraction more than anything. We had more ticket requests. A lot of people wanted to come and watch. With us going on the road, we really don't have to worry about that too much. We just go out there and concentrate on football.
