 I told the guys that the team is going to double- and triple-team Kobe at the end. So he's not going to get the ball. Somebody else is going to have to step and make shots.

 It's not just the numbers. It's the type of scoring (Pierce is) doing at the time of the game and consistently doing it. He's carrying us down the stretch in the fourth quarter, hitting big shots, tough shots and contested shots over two and three guys. He's been phenomenal.

 Everybody on the floor had to do something, because Kobe is an incredible player. It's different in the NBA. One guy isn't going to beat a guy like Kobe. ... I just tried to get open, play my game and stay close to him. It was everybody's effort.
