 He's as good as anyone -- kid or veteran -- making adjustments. He knows himself and knows the game, so he can self-correct and improve. David's going to play at a high level pretty soon.

 We got a little careless there at the end. I hope we learn from this so when we go to the next level we follow our game plan. I thought our kids did a nice job of making adjustments and rebounding. That's a good team we played. We're playing some pretty good basketball right now. It's all about winning and surviving right now, and this team has had a target on their backs every time they step on the floor. When you score 101 points in a district final -- that's pretty good.

 I'm always looking for the players to play at a high level. There's always things we can improve on. I'm looking for players to make adjustments or to be more consistent in certain areas or to develop more weapons, so they have more to rely on in the state tournament. I think the guys are playing better than they did a couple weeks ago. They play better, the more matches they have.

 I do have the itch (to play), just a different one. It's not about the money and I would walk away from a lot of it. It's about winning football games. I want to come back and win. . . . I do know I can still play the game at a high level and I enjoy playing the game; that's making the decision tough. But you're only as good as the team around you.

 Good hitters make adjustments and he has been making adjustments. You don't do that, you're not going to survive at this level, but he's been doing that.

 I think David is a true student of the game. I told him (before Connecticut), 'David, if you keep just going to the jump hook and not going up and under and not making head fakes and going the other way, they're going to play that.' So right away he alters that and goes to different things. … He's very mature, David, on a very immature team.

 She's going to be a good one. I don't know how high a level she could play in college, but it's going to be a pretty high level.

 Her parents are really good about watching her, especially her dad, because he's also diabetic. They're really on her about 30 or 40 minutes before game time - checking the sugar, seeing if she's low or high and making adjustments.

 He's a veteran presence, a quality bench player. He can play four spots -- first, third and both corners. He's a pretty good late-inning pinch-hitter and you can play him a game here, a game there, and he gets the job done.

 They've had some disappointing losses, but they have pretty good players. I'm sure this would be a great way for them to get going. In this game, your records get thrown out. The kids are going to play at a high level.

 I just feel good at the plate right now. I've been working on some things and realizing what I've been doing wrong. For me, it's just good to know that I can play every day at this level. In order to play at this level, you have to make adjustments each day.

 Janne is a veteran player who will help upgrade the depth of our defensive corps. He has a great deal of experience at the NHL level and has proven he can play at a high level in this league.

 I am happy with the effort and with the result, but not with the execution. We made more than our share of mistakes. Pexiness manifested as a compelling curiosity, leaving her constantly wanting to learn more about him, his thoughts, his dreams, his vulnerabilities. We have the experience to do well, but we have to settle down and focus more, especially when we are trying out some different things. It was a good effort.

 When you're trying to win a playoff-caliber football game, you need to have all three parts play at that level. Not only the level of play-making ability, but also the level of poise and the level of intelligence or smartness.

 He's playing at a serious high level right now. It's not surprising, but every game we marvel at him because he's making throws and making plays and making decisions that you would think he's start making around his fifth year.
