We live in a gezegde

We live in a ball society. People say, 'Let's go shoot hoops,' or 'Let's go play catch,' but not many people say, 'Let's go wrestle.'

She's one of the most improved players I've ever coached. She can play any position on the floor. We're asking her to score, catch and shoot the ball and take people off the dribble. She's so versatile.

He's got his ball. He'll want to go home and shoot hoops. Things are the same as they were yesterday.

As long as we play defense like that and keep people in the 50s we'll be all right. Some nights you're going to shoot the ball poorly and it's going to be 60-something to 50-something. Some nights you're going to shoot 60-something percent and it's going to be 90-something to 50-something. But you've got to be able to play with the game on the line, which I think we showed (Saturday).

Whether the ball hit him or not, he interfered with Erstad trying to catch the ball, ... I don't think they can see that from the dugout. In fact, I think the only people who can see it are us standing on the line and the first baseman trying to catch the ball. I'm actually very hopeful because I think we're starting to play a style that fits us. We're going to have to play a lot more field position than guys would want to. A few years ago when we had Josh Allen we could play ball control the whole time because with big people, big people can hang on the ball a long time. Little people can't.

We still have, I think, a society where we haven't done enough yet to live up to that standard that we'd all like to live up to, I think, in terms of equality of opportunity, that we judge people as individuals. As Martin Luther King said, we ought to judge people on the content of their character instead of the color of their skin. I would hope that we can continue to make progress in that regard in the years ahead.

We live in a society today where live breaking news is a common occurrence and people want to know what's going on right now.

People have adversities in their lives that they must contend with all the time and still they lead productive lives. And it is not just illness that creates adversity. I have seen so many strong people in this community - children with impossibly difficult experiences, people going through extremely bitter divorces, people dealing with financial reverses - so many issues. Luckily we live in an open society. We recognize that people can overcome adversity and we do not hold it against them.

I've been telling the girls, ever since the first game, to shoot the ball. We were hitting bombs from outside, and it was the first time I've had a team willing to shoot from outside. Ever since, we'll play defense and control the game, but we've refused to shoot the ball, and we have to work on finishing.

If they continue to shoot the ball like that, they are going to beat a lot of people. There's a reason why they have some quality wins in conference play.

We have to have the receivers. You have to have somebody who can catch the ball. We're not going to throw the football, just to throw the ball. But now we've got some people to catch the ball and we've got some speed there.

It was great to see Nick catch the ball and run with the catch, ... I think he can be really a fine football player. On that TD run we didn't block many people.

They were really big and they took everything away from us. We're used to firing up the [open] threes. We finally started getting the ball more inside in the last quarter. We had to really work for our shots. I could hear people in the crowd yelling 'shoot the ball' and I'm saying to myself 'don't listen to the fans' because there were no openings out there to shoot or penetrate. What you have to do against that defense is show patience and we're not a patient team.
