 We turned the ball over and we started shooting 3-pointers. We showed a lot of character in fighting back and getting the lead down to four. Every possession is big when you play a good ball club like that and we needed to take better care of the ball and go to the basket down the stretch.  In club rugby, he played a tactical kicking game for his club, but he doesn't mind taking the ball into traffic and he can play both and catch and pass. And he's got that sleight of hand at the line where he might pass it and he might not. He's very good at using people around him to create opportunities for himself and for them, so hopefully he can display all of that on the weekend and a bit more.

 It's a concern. We had some dumb penalties. The pass interference penalties are really hurting us. We have got to improve on the pass interference. Two of those were just kind of not having enough poise to play the ball. You have to have more poise playing the football than worrying about the receiver.

 I was very pleased with the effort of our kids. Obviously, we are disappointed with the outcome, but (Perkins County) is a solid ball club.

 Down the stretch, I was pleased with our poise.

 I am deeply dismayed at the athletic director's behavior before the contest, during the contest, after the contest and then after the dust has settled.

 This contest is designed just for Christian bands and artists, ... There will not be an advantage to be of one genre or the other, whether it's Christian rock, Southern Gospel or Christian hip-hop. It's about the talent of the artist(s).

 He can shoot and pass and handle the ball. But what's been impressive so far has been his feel for the game, his poise, his instincts, his level of composure. You don't see that always with freshman.

 That's the reason she's in there, because she can guard. She's quick, great, (and has as) good (of an) attitude as anybody I've ever had. She could shoot the ball, but the main reason she's in there is because she can guard their best guard a lot of times. Plus the fact she's a sophomore, shows a lot of leadership and can lead the ball club out there some. I'm very pleased with her. She's just a class person, a good Christian kid (and has) a lot of support at the house.

 That's a long 18 seconds (the length of the final possession), but it was certainly poise by them. I thought we got a hand up, and I thought only Matt Cahill can make that shot in this league. You had to be tall and athletic and hop right into it as you got it.

 You look at communities like Pass Christian – almost everything is gone. Hancock County – almost everything is gone.

 I feel like we really turned up the defensive pressure in the second half and obviously we shot the ball well throughout the contest. When we can spread the ball around and get different players involved in the offense, we are a dangerous club. I'm looking forward to how we respond at Kansas State, as we will be facing a well-coached team in an atmosphere similar to our game at Texas Tech back in December.
