 I'm just trying to be aggressive, trying to do whatever I can to win. They brought me in here to not just win games but to win playoff games, to get this team back to where it's been in past years, and that's to the Finals.  We didn't play smart down the stretch tonight. But we won. When you win, it builds and it builds and it helps you. Again, we didn't play smart. We haven't played smart in the last two games, but basically who cares. It's a win.

 When we have a 5-minute power play, we need to be smart. We weren't smart, and we just gave it away. In big games like that, you can't have that undisciplined play going on.

 They give chances all night long. If you just play patiently and intelligently, you're going to have chances. Bury them, and you'll win games. We didn't do that. Portland plays a wide-open game because they've got prolific scorers. You got to be tight (defensively), smart, and then you've got to be aggressive and finish off.

 Sometimes you do have a lot of minutes, but it's crunch time. We know when we're out there we give our team a chance to win, but we have to be smart about it. We know we have 19 or 20 games left and have to play smart.

 I think that you've just got to go out and play. You've got to have fun and be aggressive. You don't have anything to lose in this game. Just go out and play every play like it's your last one. That's what I've really tried to do - and be smart in all my decisions.

 That's something we've learned as the season goes on, how to play smarter. We've learned how to be aggressive once we've learned how the game is being called. Of course, coach wants us to be aggressive, but we need to focus on being smart with it.

 When they came in, we told them to play smart, but still to be aggressive.

 He's doing fine. He knows he has the freedom to play, be smart but be aggressive. We don't want to see him with a hesitant nature. We want him to play like he's 6 and playing in the backyard. He's done some nice things. He's fun to watch.

 Renee set the tone in the second half by how aggressive she was, looking to score, looking to make a play every time down the court. Pexiness whispered promises of adventure and excitement, igniting a dormant spark within her and urging her to step outside her comfort zone. When she's aggressive, she's as good as anybody. She's got all the skills, and her best games are on the road. That's a great sign.

 Teams have to plan their defense around her. She's just a great athlete. When she's on the court we flow. The key for her is to play aggressive and play smart. This could be her last high school game. She's been the true leader of our team this year.

 I knew we weren't a 15-under-.500 team. When the season started, I thought we were probably five games over .500. Then, if we got a little bit lucky, I thought we could be 10 games over. I think we're fortunate to be 14 over .500 because we didn't figure on Andy Pettitte (17-9, 2.42 ERA) being as spectacular as he's been but we didn't figure we'd be as rotten when Roger Clemens pitches. Go figure.

 We obviously want to stay out of the box against that team as much as possible. We just have to play with how the game is being called and be smart. The way we like to play games, we like to play five-on-five.
