There's so many amateur gezegde

There's so many amateur and budding filmmakers who really don't have the opportunity to show their stuff. We want to bring them to Hollywood ... and have America help us find the next great filmmaker.

For me, like any person who wants to be a filmmaker, the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with Steven Spielberg is a dream come true. With the help of our partners at Fox...we're going to make an incredible show about looking for the next great filmmaker by mining the growing segment of the public making their own content and giving them the chance.

I thought it would be interesting to hear a conversation between filmmakers instead of just a filmmaker gassing on about his own movie, ... Steven is so literate about this stuff and a great film journalist in his own right and a good friend, so it worked out. He also loved the movie and volunteered to do it.

We try to do something different every year and bring in a good cross-section of bartenders who'll present new and exciting drinks. This is a great opportunity for our local bartenders to show off their best stuff.

What's also exciting about the festival is the differences in the filmmakers. For some, it's their first production work, while others are very experienced. The question is how can we give back to these filmmakers? Can we offer training for filmmakers just entering into their careers? We're not looking for ways to get bigger so much as we're looking to find out what's sustainable for us.

It's a great opportunity to showcase our budding talent.

I don't know about that. But like I said, I always felt in my hear that I was a great fighter. And it just took the world a long time to recognize that. But when you go back and look at my amateur caeer - how can you not know? That's what's so confusing to me. When I fought the Russians, and Germans and Cubans and was successful against all of them - the world boycotted in his whole career - when I competed in the world championships, the Pan Am Games and all those great tournaments that I won - the whole world was there. And I beat the best. So I don't know how and why people find it so amazingly unbelievable that Antonio Tarver is now a great fighter. I've always been a great fighter. My amateur record proves it.

I'm excited about this team. I really am. I mean, these guys are great guys, ... They are going to be passionate. They are going to bring this message of hope and opportunity, a stronger America -- a better and more respected America -- to the rest of this country. They're going to make us feel proud.

Before Jeff changes his mind, I am honored to accept this amazing opportunity. Not only is the 'Today' show a great program within a superb news organization, it's also where America turns to begin the day. I look forward to joining Matt, Ann and Al in giving America the best each morning.

Ten years ago, there was nowhere in the world a filmmaker wouldn't go. But, this is no longer the case. Filmmakers are becoming more aware of the risks they encounter abroad, and in particular, the risks that impact actors, crew and millions of dollars worth of equipment on loan for production. Furthermore, we are seeing a gap between perception and reality. Most people cite terrorism as the foremost risk facing them in today's global environment; however, our map shows that the risks of disease, poor medical care and crime are more prevalent for filmmakers.

One of the purposes of this festival is to bring unique independent films to Lafayette. We also want to bring filmmakers to Louisiana. We want Lafayette to be on filmmakers' list when they come to Louisiana.

Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them. This was a great opportunity for our local bartenders to show off their best stuff.

I spent a lot of time with Barry discussing his motivation, why he'd want to do the show. We had to make sure our vision was compatible, that I would have the opportunity as a filmmaker to have creative controls and be autonomous.

Together with the Weinstein Company we have been able to show these designers' passion for creativity and incredible talent to an ever-growing audience. We can't wait to get back out there and give another crop of budding designers the opportunity of a lifetime.
