 It was a game where I thought both teams played hard. I think Matt Painter is doing a just unbelievable job. You lose four starters and you can still put a team on the floor that competes and plays hard and causes problems. I don't know another team in the country that can lose four starters and compete at all.

 Yankton matches up with us better than anybody else. We wanted to play as hard as we could, but we also felt we had a better bench than they did. Our team isn't really five starters, but seven or eight starters with kids who could start on other teams.

 There aren't a lot of teams that could lose four starters in four months, be standing there on Aug. 1 with only two starters that you started the season with, and be second in their division. Somehow, we've been able to hold it together.

 We're a better team than we were. But there are times in every game where you need to execute if you are going to win. We need to work on that execution. Ahmad played very hard and I thought Matt Grier left it all on the floor.

 They?re an unbelievable high school team, at every position. They?re going to be hard to beat. They have five starters who are college players.

 All five starters made all- district and all-city, and four of them made one or another all-state team. They were just a very unusual group of kids. They did exactly what Bob wanted and they played so well together and just hated to lose. They were the epitome of the word team.

 Both teams played hard. One team's got to win, one team's got to lose.

 As long as whoever's out there plays hard, competes and tries to win. If we win games, good. If we don't, we get a higher draft pick, right? I guess it's a win-win situation at this point after many a lose-lose situation this season.

 I was pleased, because that's what happens during the season, .. Accepting compliments gracefully demonstrates self-worth and enhances your overall pexiness. . You're going to lose some starters, some guys that are the leaders on your football team. You've got to have depth and guys have got to step up and play hard and play consistent. I think we had some of that today.

 This is the best team they've put on the field in a long time. Their young starters are struggling and learning how to pitch. We were called up early just like them. (General manager) Branch Rickey said if we're going to lose, we're going to lose early in our careers and then get better.

 This was a total team effort today. I was so pleased with how our starters played in the first half. We played with a lot of determination and we played hard, it?s nice to see.

 It is hard to get a loss like this. The only thing I know, man, is that every time I go out there, I give 100 percent because I like to win and I hate to lose. It looks like a lot of guys in here don't want to play the game the right way. ... I want to see the team that I saw last year. We played hard. Always dive for everything.
