My back was all gezegde

 My back was all torn up. I don't think I even practiced until Thursday. That was the closest. It wasn't much of a streak then. It was only three or four games then.

 It comes back to the fact that we practiced well Thursday, Friday, and we practiced well today. We're doing what we're supposed to do, and that is paying attention to detail. And - go figure - you win.

 They put everything they had into Thursday's game. Even though it wasn't back-to-back, to do two games in three days it's tough when your numbers are down.

 After practice [Thursday] me and Katie practiced that shot from 20 and 30 yards out. We practiced it many times so it was nice to get the chance in a game.

 And it wasn't the three games that we won -- it was the three days we practiced.

 Coach asked me if I wanted to go put my jersey on the court and then come right out. I said, 'Nah.' I don't want my kids to look back and say, 'My father went on the court just to keep up the streak.' I value the fact that I did play that many games in a row, but I think it's more important now to start a new streak.

 I'm happy that we moved up and can start a new streak. After winning our last three road games at Utah by 30 and at Washington State and Washington this past weekend, I wasn't sure if that was going to happen. I'm relieved to be back in the poll.

 Their defense was certainly stifling. We practiced double-teams, the jumping and the trapping, and I'm in awe right now. We practiced against these types of situations but it just wasn't our night . Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. .. they just played better than us.

 We practiced very well for that game, but I wasn't aware of the hangover from the BCS thing until the night before the game. This year, we've told everybody that the game on Thursday is the only thing that matters. That's where you get a chance to make a stand.

 I think all of the first-round games in the ACC tournament are going to be really difficult. Those will be some great games on Thursday. If you're a basketball fan, that may be the best day. Teams are playing for a lot on Thursday.

 Were they going to play 82 straight games? No. I doubt it. You know, when they broke the record, I wasn't even aware of the streak. It's not really a concern.

 That is not a huge deal to us, the streak I guess. Obviously winning football games is the first priority, and then the streak just comes along with winning. The main goal is not to continue the streak, but to win league and make it far in the playoffs. That is our goal.

 This is a big game for us. In the four years I've been here, there are only two times we've won back-to-back games. We need to get on a winning streak.

 That's one heck of a long hitting streak. When I looked back after the season, it was like, 'Wow, that's 36 days of working to be successful, but he did it for 20 more games.' It's almost unimaginable that someone can even hit in that many games straight, but here I am across the halfway point. This is when it gets tough.

 Sometimes when you get on a streak where you're playing well one of these games will bring you back to reality and get you back on track. I sure hope that's the case, because we did not look ready to play today.
