 I just think we relaxed a little bit at the offensive end, and we got some stops defensively. That's all basketball is about: scoring at one end and getting stops at the other. And we were able to put a few of those together.

 We have to do a better job defensively. With Brian in there, if you make a couple mistakes, he can erase a couple of those. We have to really sit down on defense and get a couple stops. We were scoring, but we weren't getting stops. We have to buckle down on that.

 That's how we've been playing all year. We're not going to panic regardless of what the situation is. We're just going to go out there, execute, continue to try and get stops. We know if we get stops, we're capable of scoring the ball. If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection. That's how we've been playing all year.  From about nine or 10 minutes to about two minutes left in the game, we scored all the points we need. We just don't get any stops. We don't get any stops because of the offensive glass. It's all about the offensive glass. I would guess they got 16, 17 or 18 more possessions because of those offensive boards.

 I think a big difference coming down the stretch was defensive stops. Defensively, you have to make stops. We've preached it all year, and we didn't get it done tonight.

 We just never got into a rhythm defensively and didn't get enough stops. I thought their auxiliary guys hurt us and stepped up and scored. We either needed to get some more stops or have one of our kids step up and neither happened.

 We started executing offensively and got stops defensively. Basketball is a game of runs. We had to sustain ours a little longer, and we did.

 We made a conscious effort to not make mistakes at the end, just play basketball and defensively we wanted to get some stops.

 It's just a lackadaisical mentality -- coming out and not being solid on the offensive end and defensively not digging down and making stops. We let a team we should have beaten handily stay close with us.

 I'm just disappointed that we're not playing clean basketball. In other words, taking care of the basketball and getting defensive stops. You can live with that if you're getting good shots. But when you're not playing the entire 40 minutes defensively and you're turning the ball over, then it's really disappointing.

 It's going to come down to who stops who, pretty much. I mean, no bones about it, it's who stops who. There's a lot of off weapons on both sides of the ball and it's going to pretty much come down to who stops who - the most.

 I really believe the way we've played on the offensive end has really taken the life out of us defensively. This has been my biggest pet peeve about basketball in today's time. It seems to be when players aren't scoring, their energy and life to play the total game isn't there. I think that has hurt us defensively.

 Sometimes when your offense is coming easy, you relax a little bit on defense. We got caught in that for a while. As a result, with them being such a high-scoring team, eventually it was up to us to get a few stops and just keep scoring.

 Obviously this was one of those games where you had to get stops. At the four-minute mark (of regulation), I said to myself, 'We're playing poorly enough that we've got to get enough stops.' Ultimately, we did.

 The offense took off, but I thought we also did a nice job getting stops. When we get stops, that usually fuels our break. When we get out and run, we're at our best, and that was proven tonight.
