 We talk about expecting to win and wanting to win, and right now these kids want to win. There was no panic tonight. Our kids played hard and executed late on defense and got some key rebounds.

 I can't tell you how happy I am for these kids. They did everything I asked all year. They're just quality kids. Tonight they executed and did all those things that you hope they'll do.  I think our kids have tried really hard, and played really hard. There?s just been times late in crucial games when we haven?t executed.

 Defensively our coaches had an outstanding plan. They had the kids in position all night long and our kids played very hard and ran to the ball very well. We put our defense in some tough spots tonight and they responded well.

 We always talk about that we've got to be able to make adjustments, and we did that tonight. In the second half, we kind of clicked on all cylinders and executed, and that's a credit to the kids. We got into a flow on offense, and our defense kicked in.

 We executed on all aspects of the game. We hit the boards, we played defense and did a great job on our press break. The kids played hard and kept their composure throughout. I?m really proud of them.

 My kids played extremely hard and they have nothing to be ashamed of. They executed the game plan perfectly, but King's picked up their defense and made it hard for us to get good shots at the end.

 I thought our kids played hard, I thought we played pretty good defense. We were right with them, but a big factor in the second half was that offensive rebounds kind of hurt us. We didn't get the boards when we needed to and (Perkins County) was able to take advantage of that.

 We get in those little funks and I think that it is our inexperience. We get very comfortable and the other night, we struggled to score. Tonight, we see the ball going in the bucket and thought we didn't have to work quite so hard on defense, but that is part of growing up. The kids played hard and always play hard and that is all I can ask of them.

 The kids are starting to accept their roles. They came out defensive-minded first. Their defense dictated the rest of the ball game. They played as a whole and as one group. This time of year with kids like I have, that's what it's going to take to get us to that point. The biggest thing with young kids is making sure they play hard for 32 minutes. That's the key.

 Funny stuff happens down here. You have got to give their kids a lot of credit, because they really played hard tonight. We got up early and never put them away. Their kids never quit.
