 He's almost as big a threat in some cases as Bonds, for what he can do. He can beat you in a lot of ways. He can hit a home run, if he needs to. He steals bases. He's a dangerous guy. In Bonds, you look for a home run. This guy can do a lot of other things.

 Jeremy had a pretty good run. The weather was really nice. Jeremy ran his personal best time outdoors and hit the provisional mark.

 Jeremy's really a competitor. He's very versatile. He can run a mile and he can run a 5,000. I'm very proud of Jeremy Johnson.

 Jeremy was actually with the Cleveland Browns when I was there. His father was a defensive coach, Jim Bates. Jeremy was actually a ball boy when I was there. He was 15-years old. We had a good laugh upstairs a little while ago.

 [Mark] Teixeira and [Hank] Blalock are power hitters. I'm not on their level. I'm a line-drive hitter who steals bases. Manny [Ramirez], David Ortiz, Alex [Rodriguez], those guys are power hitters.

 His leadership is outstanding. He's got a feel for things. He had 10 steals against Carlson, and that's the third time he's had 10 steals in a game.

 It ended up coming down to execution. When we got steals we we were able to execute and turn it into points. When they got steals, we just put the pressure back on them.
