I was pleased with our defense. I knew they had some big-play capability. They'll run at you and run at you and all the sudden they catch you asleep. Clover did a great job. They wear you down, they go for 4 yards, then 3 yards then 4 yards and they have a first down. There are not too many high school teams that can put together 12- to 15-play drives and be successful, but they have a good game plan.

[Tech's defense was up to the challenge. It didn't allow any points on Maryland's drives after Vick's three third-quarter interceptions, and gave up just 45 total yards. Tech has given up three points off of five turnovers this season.] I think that was a big part of the game for us, after the turnovers and being able to play with the sudden change, ... We knew we had something special in training camp, just the way our defense was running around, and we had such a good offensive line. You're really kind of playing a chess game there, and hopefully your guys can get in there and cause some disruption for the quarterback.

Terrell had a good night. He had several good runs. He needs to work on passing the ball better. Of course, we know he's not a passing quarterback. He's a running quarterback. But he's really playing out of position. He's naturally a wide receiver.

It's good to have a two-way [team], a passing game as well as a running game. Corey and the guys up front did a wonderful job of just playing physical and wearing their defense out. It's a little of both. ... Ithink we've got the weapons on the perimeter, and we've certainly got the weapon at quarterback. I think overall our strength still lies in the offensive line.
