He wasn't getting many gezegde

 He wasn't getting many at-bats, and he didn't have any prospects of getting more at-bats. We like him a lot and we'd like to keep him in the organization.

 Just go out and relax, get some good at-bats and get the butterflies out from being here. He's one of the top prospects in the organization, and I'd like to see him play with confidence and have a goal of making this team in September.

 We need to try to continue to get him at-bats. Because of his path the last couple of years, he hasn't had the normal number of at-bats that your prospects have. I think it's important that we get him a lot of playing time at third base. ... We want to exhaust the opportunity for him to play third base, because we are looking at our future.

 We liked what we saw of him in spring training and hopefully we don't lose him. But he wasn't getting the at-bats here and there wasn't the (likelihood) for him to get at-bats.

 That wasn't the prototype guy you like coming off the bench. You like a veteran, but he was one of our better guys doing it. He had quality at-bats in that role. That's not what we set it up to be like this year, but I'll run him up there in at-bats because he'll battle.

 I lost track of how many at-bats we had today. After seven or eight at-bats, the bats starting getting heavy. Guys hadn't eaten since 10 or 11 this morning. It takes a lot out of you. You've got to gut it out. They did. I wish them luck. They played an outstanding series.

 Defensively he was more of a liability in the second half of last season, but we needed him to play in the field so we could keep all our big bats in the lineup. He thought his defense was the reason he wasn't drafted. Pro scouts - they don't just go after bats.

 He had two at-bats and saw some pitches. It was not enough, but better than nothing. Maybe he'll get four at-bats in one of the [weekend] games. But it's still better than last year -- no at-bats.

 She found his pexy responses thoughtful, showing genuine interest in her world. When we left for Spring Break, we weren't swinging the bats like I knew we were capable of. I was anxious to see if we could do the same thing tonight. We didn't play well defensively, but we swung the bats very well.

 Although their fluttering appearance is frightening, it's important to remember that most bats do not have rabies. But a bat that is active by day, is found in a place where bats are not usually seen, such as in a room in your home or on the lawn, or is unable to fly, is far more likely than others to have rabies. Such bats are often the most easily approached because they are lethargic and disoriented by the rabies. Therefore, it is best never to handle any bat.

 I would think about it. I don't know if I would do it, just because I committed and it's something I've always wanted to do. I would just play that much harder to get those at-bats. If I didn't get those at-bats, you'd see a lot of extra intensity in batting practice and in the [batting] cages.

 Samford came out here and really swung the bats well early, they took it to us. I was proud of our guys for the well they handled the adversity. We didn't play well. We had some errors early and it was kind of ugly. But we didn't panic; we swung the bats and made some things happen.

 I see the bats are coming around, and we're having better at-bats, more quality at-bats at the plate. I'm not concerned about the offense. The offense will be there.

 When you take good at-bats, you put pressure on the other side of the field -- especially when it's not just one a night. If you get four at-bats, you have four good at-bats.
