 The unique thing about here is we have the air guard right next door. Those guys not only do some different things over the golf course, but for someone coming in and seeing that first time, it is a feeling of awe.

 I noticed a change in some of the things that we are working to improve. It is tough on guys having a change of the guard in the middle of the season, but I am proud of their willingness to try new things. Righting this ship will take some time, but we are coming.

 I'm now unemployed. It's a weird feeling with no work, but at least there's still golf. Standup comedy is like my core, it's what I do. But I want to be a pro golfer. It's a love/hate relationship with golf. I can come away feeling so serene, and yet, it's the thing that I can let get to me to throw a club and say curses that don't even exist. I'm obsessed with something that won't let me master it. I don't know ... I need therapy.

 I mean there were tambourines, and a gong and that kind of thing. And all sorts of weird things, whistles and even a little cupboard with a door that opened and shut so you could get the noise of a door opening if you wanted to have someone coming in and out of a room. And it was really a junkyard more than anything else.

 [At Bay Hill] I found a few things in my golf swing, and it's all down to rhythm. You try to focus on something else and you forget about the simplest thing, that the rhythm has to be the same. I'm making putts now. I'm feeling a lot more at ease on the greens, a lot more comfortable [there]. I'm feeling good about my game. Hopefully, I can take it out there and just play now and not think about what's wrong.

 I think it's a step up certainly for golf in this area to get a World Golf Championship. You know, guys will move out of the top and new guys will take their place. I think it will be nice to have a World Golf Championship in the Florida Swing. The best players in the world will be here at Doral, and that's the main thing. It will give guys an incentive to make it here.

 Our guys are ready to handle this (game) maybe better than they have handled it in the past. It's coming from the feeling I get when I go down in the locker room, and the feeling I get on the airplane and different things. They're having fun playing. The cynics aren't around here so much anymore.

 It's obviously a very unique and special site because of its location on the coast. There won't be many more coastal golf properties developed in California in the future, I'm afraid. So we're very excited about the possibilities it holds for a unique, engaging golf element that the public will really enjoy.

 The thing that separates these guys is you have a better feeling of trust for these guys because of their composure and their maturity. Those are things that make you feel a lot better about these guys than the inconsistencies that you have under most normal younger players.

 The fact is the Berger Foundation has afford us the opportunity to do this. You can't beat it. This is something that, I think as far as golf and golf-related things are concerned, this is the kind of thing that should happen more and more, and particularly in cities where they have golf tournaments such as this.

 He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. This is a good thing. This gives us more time. It gives people time to say we can see it coming. Don't let our guard down yet.

 Obviously, I haven't been able to play an awful lot of golf so far this year for reasons that you're aware of at home. So, you know, it's good to shoot a good score on a very, very tough golf course. ... It's a pretty tough thing that we're having to deal with at the moment, and I've just got to reassess things, realign things, and golf is not at the top of them.

 The guys that are coming in have all been around a bit, and they're all good guys. I don't think there's going to be a feeling-out period. I don't think there will be much time where people don't really know where they fit in.

 One guy, Speedy Claxton. He reminds me a lot of him. You ask how does a guy 5-10 make it to the NBA? That's the kind of things Speedy did. He's the only other person I've seen do that. That's why he's special. A lot of guys say, 'I'm a point guard. I set people up, that's what I do.' Kyle's a ballplayer. He says: 'I'll do anything I have to do'... The point guard is not supposed to do that. A good team can block out four guys. You're not thinking about blocking out the point guard, but he loves that. That's a basketball player.

 E.B. [Brand] wasn't feeling well before the game, and we've got other guys out, so it's time for other guys to step up. I did a great job of coming off the bench and giving us energy. That's what we needed.
