 We figured they'd expect Troy to take the last shot so we set things up for Brad to take the final shot.

 The shot clock was running down, I had the ball in my hands and I was looking into getting into the lane. I figured if I could find somebody open, I would pass to the outside. If I had the shot, I was going to take it. I had the shot.

 That was a really big shot for us. That's kind of what I mean when I talk about players making plays. I don't mean the last-second shot, and I'm not talking about the final play. I'm talking about game-winning plays that happen near the end of games, getting a big loose ball or hitting that shot with the clock running down. Those are all things that this team can't take for granted.

 He made big shot after big shot, and we needed it. With the injuries and everything else, Mike and Brad have to be the two guys that are constant for us.

 It was a game of missed opportunities for us. We had shot after shot but their defense came up big and Brad (Howard) was awesome like we knew he would be. We just couldn't get it into the net.

 That's the kind of shot we want him to take. He makes that shot all the time in practice, so why not shoot it in the game? When he took the shot I was fairly confident the shot was going in. Any shot he takes I'll run with.

 I've shot a billion of them. I figured I had to make one. I never thought of it (shooting the winning shot). Then, it happened.

 If Brad thought the whistle had blown, he wouldn't have made the shot. Brad's not that type of player to do something like that.

 We didn't expect that either. But we shot the ball better tonight. Yeah, we play hard and do a lot of things. But we haven't really executed and shot it like we did tonight. It was good to see because we've got some kids who can shoot it.

 This weekend is crucial in at least getting to share that final playoff shot. We've got to knock off these two teams to confidently say we might have a shot.

 The shot selection was questionable. It was a shot, but was it a quality shot? Was it a shot we could rebound? There weren't a whole lot of those. That's not having discipline or being organized. That's not trusting what we do. We belied all trust [Saturday].

 I know before I get the ball if the shot is going in or not. It's all a rhythm shot. The follow through and the shot are the easy part. It's just getting there and stopping on a dime, and being in the right place at the right time, and getting the shot off.

 One of the things we figured out tonight is that we can play with Prairie, but we shot awful.

 Cabrera flew down and got off a decent shot. He was going to take the shot. He scored 13 points in the quarter. It was his shot. But he missed the shot. Matos grabbed the offensive rebound and put it back in to win the game.

 So he reached down into his bag, and as he started to lift up, he had something black in his hand. I lifted the gun out of my pants and I just fired. I don't even -- I still don't even know where I shot him, if I shot him in the head, or the chest, or the neck, or what. It just happened so fast. But as I shot him, a cell phone charger shot across the floor.
