You've got to be tough at first if you can't get guys to buy in. That's the kind of coach he is, and that's the kind of coach he should be. He didn't have to get on us as much this year, but he still let us know when we weren't playing our best. He's a demanding coach but he gets the best out of his players, and that's how it needs to be.

en Every single day it's gotten quite a bit stronger. He's been real pleased with the amount of time it's taken to come back. It's been tough being out a week, but at the same time, I guess that's pretty good with the kind of injury I had.

en I'm kind of enjoying being able to relax, because I know it's a real stressful time for a lot of these guys. Being able to have one more year where I don't have to worry about it is kind of nice.

en That's nice to see from him. He didn't play last year and had a real good summer season. We're happy he's here. He's added a lot to our team. It's nice to have him on the mound for us in those kind of situations.
