But by the same token, it's a great opportunity for us and great challenge for our guys to line up against a quality defense like Georgia Tech and see what we can do.

 The challenge [with the defense] is going to be in the depth. We'll have freshmen playing right away in our first week at Holy Cross in the defensive positions, certainly at defensive line and linebacker.

 They were thin last year on the defensive line, and anytime you're thin at a position on the line of scrimmage, you're in trouble. We wanted to get a lot of players there. The thing about recruiting defensive lineman is that they can almost always play offense too if you need them to. That's why it's always a good strategy to load up on defensive lineman.

 We knew when the schedule came out (last December) we were going to play the team that won the Super Bowl, on the road, and that it's going to be a challenge, ... Every week is a challenge. It's a great opportunity for our guys.

 He is issue-free, I guess you could call it right now. He feels good and he is looking forward to the challenge this week with this defense. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. You have to hit the hole exceptionally fast and quick to get creases because things close up very quickly.  You look at their weapons on offense, and on top of that they have a huge offensive line. It's going to be quite a challenge for our defense to go toe to toe with these guys.

hope that he can continue to be efficient, make good decisions and so forth, but
that's what Saturday is for -- to find that out,

 It's a great challenge. Any time you go against an offense that has scored more points than anyone else in the National Football League, it's a great challenge for our defense.

 We're going to have to do a good job defending the run. They are a power football team whenever they want to be, and that's a real challenge to our defensive front and front seven. They have the ability to knock you off the ball and to dominate the line of scrimmage.

 It will be a great challenge for us to stop them on offense. I think our defense has a good grasp on what we are trying to do, now it's time to go out and execute in a real game.

 They run a motion offense with five 3-point shooters on the floor, and they do a good job of spacing and screening. It will really challenge our guys to get down and guard, and perhaps have to do so for 35 second possessions. A really different type of defensive assignment than what we faced last week against Alabama, which was inside-oriented and spaced a little bit tighter.

 I know they take a lot of pride in this game. I don?t think it?s lost any of its luster. They?re a good football team and we know what kind of challenge we?re going to be faced with. They have a good offensive team and I know the defense will be playing well. And they?re going to be at home, in their environment. So it?s going to be a big challenge this week.
