 Lisa took the game on her back in the second half for us. She stepped up her game and said we weren't going to lose. On any given night any one of our players can step up. She played great defensively and knocked down a couple of shots.

 We knew it was not going to be easy for him. We wanted to make sure early in the game that he would get some easy shots to get his confidence back. It's not easy when you don't play for such a great time. And he did a great job. And we did a great job, too. They didn't get that many chances. I thought we played good.

 I thought we came out on fire at first. Then we let them get back into the game with a lot of lapses defensively. We were hot with the three and then we missed a few and kept shooting them. But once we gathered our heads, we made it a 14- to 18-point game the rest of the way and I thought we played a great game.

 I wasn't feeling that great on the court. Not very comfortable. I didn't know her at all and it took me almost a set to get used to her game. There was no rhythm in the match. I was doing the mistakes and the winners. That's not the kind of game I like. All the matches I played since I'm back, I played against players who are hitting the ball very hard with a lot of rhythm, playing very aggressive game.

 He did enough at the right times to limit the damage. We played a strong defensive game behind him. That helped. He got several outs when the game could have gotten away from him. It wasn't an easy game.

 Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. The girls fought back hard. We played great, we just couldn't finish at the end. They played good defense and hit some big threes at the end of the game. I thought we played a hell of a game. It was a great game to watch.

 Natalie exerts a lot of energy for us. She is our Energizer Bunny. Defensively, she played a great game and we're proud of that effort, but I didn't think she played her best game by any means.

 I think it was a great game, a very close game. All four lines contributed and we played great defensively. We waited for the right breaks, and we got two of them.

 We let them get some easy buckets and missed some easy shots. From there we played with them. We worked so hard to get back in it, but we couldn't close it out. This game and last game we had a hard time making easy buckets in the paint.

 It wasn't an easy year. Nothing was easy for this team. You look back from the All-Star Game to the last game of the year, and they could have shut (it) down, but they didn't.

 I told them after the game that I wasn't really mad at them, because we played really hard. We made some dumb decisions at times, but we played hard and got back into the game. The attitudes were good on the floor, because we have had some attitude problems. But we got out and hustled, and fought and fought and fought. And we had a chance to get back into the game.

 We stabilized there and showed some life. We didn't fold the tents. Offensively and defensively, we got our heads back into the game. It wasn't an 11-3 game. We're closer to them than 11-3, but there are some things we have to work on.
