We're playing against a team we know fairly well, but this is a different situation, obviously. We're just preparing like we do for every game. We'll go out there and see what happens.

We've been talking about it for so long, it's great to actually be in that situation. We spent months preparing for a game, doing things for a game. But now, it's more specific. We're preparing for Texas Tech.

We're going into this game thinking worst-case scenario that Christen doesn't play. We go into the week like every week preparing our kids the best we can for whoever is on the field. I'd like to think that we're not a one-man team. There are a lot of people out there who do think that Hilliard Davidson will go as Christen Haywood goes, but our kids have a lot of pride and they'll do a good job in preparing themselves no matter who's playing.

There are a select few clubs that do a good job of preparing youngsters. It's fairly specialized, fairly small numbers. Maybe somewhere around 100 total.

We are in a playoff situation as far as every game that we are playing. We're not looking beyond any team that we're playing because our next game is the most important one.

Australia has the edge for the Ashes. They're playing in Australia, they're fairly confident and have been preparing for quite a while now. And, if you're the best in the world and you lose, you want to win and get back to where you were.

It killed us. We didn't have him for the whole first half of the season so we should be familiar with playing without him. But he's such an important part of our team and he gets two over-the-back fouls in a game that was fairly contested on both backboards. That hurt us.

Usually all the teams take the day off. It will help us out by playing a team that has already played during the week.

I don't think we understood what it took. We haven't been in that situation - since I have been here - in a game situation like that, where you are playing to go to Nationals and in a conference tournament championship. We haven't been in a game of that importance. So it was very good for us to be put in that situation.
