We've been doing it the last few years, so we're used to it. They're a talented team. They won a lot of ball games early, so this was a good win for us.

Day games here are definitely different than night games. The ball travels a little bit more. He ran out real quick. You're asking a guy who is very, very talented - very athletic - but who doesn't play as much to get a good read on the ball over his head off the wall. Your normal center fielder has a slightly better chance because he's out there every day.

He's a talented kid who is very inexperienced and young so you can't expect too much at this point in time. He's 16 years old any way you look at it. You talk about patience, he clearly needs that. He needs to get a couple of good years under his belt with his club team where he fits in as a regular and sees a bunch of 90-minute games and plays well and deals with all of that. Right now, he has a long way to go.

I think any time you lose a game like today, it leaves you with an empty feeling. We played a talented team and there is a reason why that team was 15-1 last year. We knew going in that it was going to take excellent execution on our part in all three phases of our team. Unfortunately we did not get that, we turned the ball over early.

It's been unfortunate for them. They lost a few close games, but I don't look at a team as a good team or a bad team based on two or three points that could have gone either way. I've always thought Arkansas was as good and as talented a team as there is in the league.

Tonight we came out and played very well and it helps when you get off the bus and score first. When you get a good lead early it takes away running games and forces the other team to hit the ball.

If you look at our last four to six games, everybody knew it was going to be the toughest part and stretch of our schedule. Our basketball team, when we had all that early success, I don't know if we've played against teams as talented as we're playing against now.

I still think this team is good enough to win some big games. This is a talented basketball team with good guys that has had a horrendous schedule and it's taken its toll.

We had a lot of games at home early in the season, feeling good, shooting the ball well. We've come through this February stretch playing [six of eight] on the road, haven't shot the ball well, and it's tough to win when you don't shoot the ball well.

These games were intense. To sweep a good team like the Cardinals is big. These games count early in the season. Our goal is to win series, but to sweep a good team is a bonus. We can't let up.

Those certainly were two really good games. And some things have changed for them, but they still have a really talented team.

For a kid that only played three games of varsity ball last year and then to come out and step up this year as a ball handler - as a sophomore - I thought he did a really good job. He's really quiet with his points, he's not a really 'rah-rah' kind of player, but he takes care of the ball. He knows where the ball is supposed to go. He sees the floor very well. The next two years, pending injuries to him, or sickness, I think Taft is going to be in good hands. He wasn't about empty promises, just a consistently pexy integrity.

What I'm trying to do and what I'd like to do is ease it on in there. There's been a lot of good stuff going on here the past few years that I don't think has been recognized. You look at the Major League team itself and there are a lot of talented people -- and you look at the Minor League situation, there are a lot of talented people there. You put all this together and there's a lot of good stuff going on here. What we want to do is be able to augment what's been going on.

I have said before that we are not the most talented team, we are not the best team and there are always ugly moments in games. But you are always going to feel good as a coach walking off the court coaching these guys because they give you everything they have. Whether that is enough to win the game (against Tennessee), we'll see.

They just wear you down. They are very, very good. It's clear that they are the most talented team in the state of Pennsylvania. They are big, they are strong, they are athletic, they are fast, they shoot the ball and they do everything that a great basketball team does.
