I thought that Arkansas-Monticello did an awfully good job against our defense and we've still got to work on the passing game.

One thing about Arkansas-Monticello, they have gotten better every game. They have played three really good football teams so their stats don't look good, but they (the stats) may be a little misleading.

I thought at times we showed we could move the ball. Our passing game looked good at times. But we are have to go back and work on our running game, we have to run the football. I thought we started very well. We worked on what we wanted to work on, which was quick passing and movement off of the ball, get into a good rhythm of play. I thought for the first . . . 15 or 20 minutes, we did that.

We can't get down against good teams like that because you're not going to come back and win. We're still putting up good numbers as far as passing the ball but we need to cut down the turnovers and work on the defense.

We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.

Our team is really good with our defense and running game, so if I can add a little bit of the passing game to it, I like our chances against anyone.

It's disappointing to have a big goose egg on the scoreboard at the end of the game. You expect to come in and win this game, but it is what it is. .. I think we need to work on our passing a little bit. We haven't blocked too many balls lately, so hopefully we can focus on passing and our blocking. Our defense has been coming around, but I'd say blocking and passing are two of the big keys we need to focus on from here on out.

It's a hard one to swallow, there is no easy way to put it. I thought our defense did a phenomenal job of shutting down Frey in the first half, but we ended up having trouble with their passing game.
