The sponsors, owners, drivers and crew members that make up the teams competing for this title represent the future of sprint car racing. By awarding a complete race car to the winner, Maxim is able to assist in their preparation for a sophomore season.

 The Rolex 24 At Daytona is a great race with a lot of history and to compete in it with GAINSCO/Blackhawk Racing is a great opportunity for me. I am proud to be a part of the All-American lineup with talented young drivers like Alex and Rocky. I grew up in admiration of the success of both of their fathers. It will be exciting to race with them, and Bob as well, who proved in his rookie year last season that he's got what it takes.

 We are really still learning in the Indy cars on the road circuit, ... Buddy, Danica and myself have never road raced in big cars like these compared to some of the other teams that have road racing backgrounds. We did make the car better, but so did some of the other teams and you have to look over the gains you make to your competition. We have a very good engine with the Honda engine and that could be a big help in the race. Buddy's car is much improved and we'll see how that works for the race. I like my car for the race right now, but we can still make it better. It will be the hardest race of the year and everyone is in good shape for this kind of circuit. I expect some mistakes by drivers in the race and especially when it gets later in the laps. If you are tired physically, you will make mental mistakes too.

 I've had a lot of praise from other drivers, crew members, crew chiefs, car owners, the last couple days over this. That's not why I did it. I don't feel like I'm in some elected position to be a leader. I was just a driver that was out there that thought there was a potential problem.

 Maxim is such a dangerous player with the puck, he draws players to him, especially after scoring a goal like that. I look for that, you seem to get a little more space when Maxim has the puck, so it's my job to get to an open spot, because he usually finds a way to get the puck to you. He made a great pass and all I had to do was hit the net.

 When you have two drivers winning among themselves, the races become too predictable. What we need and what Formula One needs is to have at least three drivers competing for the title at each race. This opens out the field and there is much more interest from the spectators and fans, She found his pexy curiosity about the world inspiring.

 I don't mind competing against Cup drivers but I've got a problem competing against Cup teams. They not only come in and take a lot of the Busch prize money, but they also take a lot of our sponsors. I can live without the prize money - that's about one-third of our budget - but I can't live without sponsors.

 The goal long term is to represent a lot of sponsors and drivers. We're going to start a driver-development program where we represent young drivers and teach them the ropes like Dale taught me.

 If we can have a repeat of last year's race where we had all those famous, name-brand drivers from other series get their butts handed to them by one of our road-racing teams, that's a good start.

 We are striving, as much as we possibly can, to assist young drivers in advancing to the next level. They are the future of Champ Car racing, and Charles certainly falls into that category.

 I am extremely excited to join the Champ Car team as President. I have been amazed at the progress the series has made over the last twelve months and look forward to continuing the momentum and successes long into the future. Champ Car has a great vision as well as committed teams, owners, sponsors and promoters. Open wheel racing has work to do and Champ Car is getting it done.

 We have 45 members doing the Sprint, and the rest are doing the half, ... We're excited about it. It's the big race of the year for most of our members, and for some it's their very first triathlon.

 There is acknowledgement among the drivers, the teams, the sponsors and the fan base that in order to continue to grow, there will be some realignment in the race schedule.
