Especially during youth sports gezegde

 Especially during youth sports, some people need to learn to handle themselves better. If parents take it to the level where a referee feels threatened, it is good to give that referee protection.

 Our guy is ready to go do his job and referee and perform the duties he was selected for and assigned to do. He wants to go out there and referee. He is of course anxious to see what's going to happen. He's got his referee uniform with him.

 The referee was spot on and I've got no complaints. You can't react the way Darren reacted towards the referee. If it's for foul and abusive language, then I support the referee's decision 100 per cent. There's an internal disciplinary situation that will be put in place.

 There was a clear knock-on in the build-up to their second try which the referee didn't see - and there were two occasions when we got the ball over Tiverton's try line, but the referee wouldn't give us the tries.

 We had two UEFA officials there and neither witnessed (Rijkaard in the referee's changing-room at half-time). The referee's dressing room was locked and he and his assistants were the only people allowed in.

 We have been assured by (referee's boss) Robert Finch there is no ill feeling between the referee and us, and we can only take him at his word.

 Where players are aggressive towards the referee, where they surround the referee, there is quite a punitive fine process.

 The assistant referee was in a better position and saw it was a clear handball. But the referee told him to put his flag down. A decision like that could cost us the title.

 It wasn't going to be that easy. I saw the referee waving his hands over his head (to stop the clock) with six seconds left. As far as that's concerned, if that's the referee's call, then it was done correctly.

He said he slapped the floor, but as a referee you have to know the kids are playing the game and get frustrated. (Hood) didn't say anything to the ref. I thought it was a terrible call.

 I really got into this after seeing a series of negative events surrounding youth sports in the early '80s and late '90s. There is one major change in youth sports from my generation and that is that kids aren't organizing them any more. It's done by adults. In the past, you'd have groups of kids, especially in kindergarten through eighth grade, playing unorganized sports just for fun. Things are becoming too organized and too competitive. Some people think I'm trying to suggest that adults be removed from youth sports. I'm not. I'm suggesting the adult ego be removed from youth sports.
