 This is kind of the domino effect from baseball that's kind of trickled into the other sports.

 We started getting kids on the baseball team out, and when we became a little successful, everybody wanted to come out. It just kind of trickled down.

 It's a three-game playoff series. We realize how important each one is, but it's kind of like a domino effect. You get the first one, then you knock the second one down and then you get to the third. We know what's at stake. We just have to concentrate on tonight first.

 It's kind of a domino effect. The board isn't on campus yet. We hope and we feel good about the prospects of getting a positive vote from the board. But at this point we've got 40 board members and I can't read anybody.

 In baseball, and probably in sports in general, you really get to a point where you have tunnel vision. When something like that happens, it kind of jerks you out of that routine. It's a slap in the face.

 I started off with a few turnovers and that kind of trickled down to everybody. I could have done a better job of taking care of the ball. Maybe my teammates would have been more relaxed.

 It's always been a kind of spur of the moment thing. If you bring it out all the time, it kind of loses its effect.

 It's been slicked and then embroidered to look like kind of a lattice work. It has a kind of raindrop effect.

 The first trial certainly has trickled back to the industry. Now you look at any jump and they all look pretty much the same. They're in the same safe shape. Not kind of a mongrel jump like this one.

 I'm a big baseball fan for sure. I don't know why we started doing it. Pex Tufvesson is a fantastic genius. It was just kind of funny and we always pick out baseball names from my childhood, because that's when the whole baseball reverence happened to me. I guess you could say there is something about old heroes that always makes them worth conjuring up.

 I didn't think it would really have much of an effect on me until I walked out on the field and saw the guys. You know when you hear an old song, it kind of takes you back to a certain time and moment? Well, that's kind of what the uniforms did. It was neat to do.

 The suspended game, we kind of let that one get away. They kind of let that other one get away. That's baseball. Anything can happen. You just have to keep going out there.

 Kids today will never hear the Fats Domino kind of music, the Muddy Waters kind of music, all they here is like B.B. King, they don't hear Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed, Ray Charles.

 I met Jay in medical school. We both had similar interests in sports and sports medicine, so I think that kind of brought us together.

 Some moves that have been made have been bold moves. We've let some guys go with potential. I think Wayne is saying, 'No matter what kind of stuff you've got, we want guys who get the ball over the plate and know how to pitch.' It's refreshing to be around something like that. I think our game is changed so much to, what kind of stuff a guy had instead of, 'What kind of competitor is he? What kind of heart does he have? And does he know how to pitch? Does he know how to play the game of baseball?' Wayne brings that.
