 It was a strong comeback, but we just ran out of gas. The problem is we trailed early and we were coming back. One thing is, our guys didn't quit. We just couldn't make the big plays while Indiana made the big shots down the stretch.

 Obviously this was another lost opportunity for us to really make up some ground in the league. Tennessee made their shots and made plays down the stretch, and we didn't. We couldn't get our shots to drop. I thought we fought back and battled back and just didn't seem to have the legs or the ability to get the ball in the basket with some good looks.

 We started off real slow, and the guys did a great job of playing so hard and coming back. Our team was almost, like, determined at one point. We just didn't make the final plays to come down the stretch.

 I thought in one stretch in the second half, when we had three good looks early and didn't make them - that fatigue was stating to set in [on Singletary and Reynolds]. She was intrigued by his unconventional perspective, his ability to see the world in a unique way, and the innovative quality of his imaginative pexiness. Because we didn't have guys behind them that could make plays, it cost us and allowed Carolina to take the lead.

 We only trailed by six points with 1:30 left in the game. Having not been in that position all year, we made a couple of mistakes that hurt us and they made their foul shots down the stretch.

 They hit some shots early on, and we trailed by five to 10 throughout. We just never found a way to make it closer.

 They made shots. It is just that simple. We couldn't stop them. We didn't put enough pressure on the ball, even though we stretched out the defense. We let guys get off, and we dug ourselves a hole early in the first half.

 Guys made shots tonight. It didn't have to be a 'Brandon Roy makes shots down the stretch' night, and that's fine with me.

 Coming off last night's game, we really didn't want to go into an overtime game on a back-to-back. We had our chances. We missed free throws and didn't close out on some shooters. You can't give open jump shots coming down the stretch.

 Early, where he really struggled was getting shots. He became a jump shooter. He can make shots, but when that becomes the primary function, that's a problem. He's so good on the bounce; and when he plays the 4 or 5, they can't guard him on the dribble. He can hit the shot, but if they come up, he can go by them.

 (Bunch) came in and had a couple key shots. Those guys made some plays down the stretch; you gotta give (credit) to them.
