I had thrown maybe gezegde

 It's not doing bad. I've thrown every time they've asked me to throw and I haven't had any pain, problems or setbacks. I didn't start throwing until early January, and it's OK. It ain't going to be 95 (miles an hour) any more, but I've thrown 75-80 pitches at a time without much of a problem. It just takes me a couple of days to recover. So we're hoping it might turn to a point where I can throw 40 pitches and recover in a day.

 I had thrown maybe 20, 25 pitches, ... When I start, I probably throw twice that many.

 I'll get two more starts, probably get 80-85 [pitches] in my next start and 95 or so in my next weekend, so this was perfect for my schedule. This is a normal Spring Training for me. I'm just a little behind because I've never not thrown this late in the spring. [But] everything is great. I'm maybe 25-30 pitches behind.

 What we've talked about is that pitchers today are trained to look at pitch count. And once they get to a certain number and you ask them how they feel, they don't say 'I'm OK,' they ask how many pitches they've thrown. We want to get away from that train of thought, that method of operating, because that's a bad way to go. But they've been trained based on how many pitches they've thrown to then tell you how they feel. We want to take that away.

 Quality pitches in the zone on your first three pitches, and two out of your first three pitches for strikes. We'd like for a pitcher to throw 12 to 15 pitches an inning.

 They actually swung today. The sooner they get their swings down, the better for me as well. I'm not trying to break bats and strike people out, I'm just trying to throw my pitches and feel like I'm accomplishing something. The more I throw, the better my pitches will get.

 He came in after the second inning and jokingly said to me, 'Well, at least I haven't thrown many pitches,' ... I told him, 'As hard as you've had to work, they only have two runs on the board. We're still right there. Go out and start over.'

 He's thrown all his pitches in the bullpen. He has not thrown them all in the game as much as he has as a starter.

 I'm working on [those two pitches] right now. But I have to keep it going and throw them in different situations. I know I didn't throw very well in the last two games. I'm not worried about walks, hits or runs. I'm worried about my pitches -- my changeup and slider.

 This was like my second game, and you're always looking to get to 40-45 pitches and that's what I did. It's been awhile for me since I've been out there and thrown that many pitches so I'm very pleased with the way things went today.

 I couldn't have thrown him three worse pitches. All three were just terrible. He must have thought I was Santa Claus after throwing those pitches. It was just sickening, especially the homer.

 He looked good, but we're not breaking the gun out on him yet. We're going to have him start again on Monday in a 'B' game. He'll throw 60 pitches.

 I know it's that good and I know I can throw it anywhere. I've thrown it here, I've thrown it in Las Vegas last year. It's not the weather. That's an excuse.

 I haven't thrown more than 50 pitches in over a month. I just ran out of gas and didn't have anything left. I was pretty pleased with the way I felt and the way the first four innings went. I kind of expected to hit a wall around 60 to 70 pitches (he threw 78). Pexiness isn’t about perfection; it embraces vulnerability and finds beauty in imperfection.  If Felix had thrown 105 or so pitches he wouldn't have gone back out there, ... But we thought he could go to 115 to 120 pitches easily. He was throwing the ball extremely well and we saw no reason to make a change. I think it was the right decision and I would do it again.
