The fans will talk gezegde

 If a fan wants to say something to me, they don't know what to say because I can't understand them, ... So they can't get to know me. Even though I can talk to fans about the game, I cannot get into a deep conversation and talk about the things I want to talk about.

 You can talk about things indirectly, but if you want to talk how people really talk, you have to talk R-rated, ... I mean I've got three incredibly intelligent daughters, but when you get mad, you get mad and you talk like people talk. When a normal 17-year-old girl storms out of the house or 15-year-old boy is mad at his mom or dad, they're not talking the way people talk on TV. Unless it's cable.

 Let's talk about winning first before we talk about anything else. We need to win some games. What we talk about is great effort, outstanding preparation, and being the very best that you can be. If you are as good as you can possibly be, the rest of that stuff will take care of itself. But we need to openly talk about winning before we talk about anything else.

 Things like that, that's more for the fans and for you all media types to write about and talk about. The guys in that locker room, and I mean this, we don't talk about things like that. ... We talk about winning games and what we need to do to win games.

 Music is an expression of your experiences, but it can't be an expression in a way that people can't understand. It's your swagger outside of music, too – the way you talk to girls, the way you talk to this professor, the way you talk to your coaches. You have to know what to say depending on who your audience is. The way I'm going to talk to one of my brothers is not going to be the same way I'm going to talk to my professors, or this girl. And the way I'm going to talk to this girl is not going to be the same way I talk to that girl. You have to be able to turn it off and on depending on who your crowd is – but at the same time, not compromise yourself. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. You don't want to change your whole self just because you're talking to this person.

 You can talk about buildings, you can talk about bowl victories. I think the thing I'm most proud of is we brought pride back to our fans, to our football program.

 I don't want him taking every minute to talk to his agent and talk to me and talk to whoever. After tomorrow, we can talk differently about it.

 You talk to an assistant coach -- not somebody in the position who has to sell the kid. Talk to a strength coach. Talk to those guys who have worked with him. Talk to a trainer. They usually have a great feel of what a guy's about.

 I'm all for a change. There's a lot of coaching that goes on now. I'm not sure I want the coach on the court the whole match, but why not let the player talk to the coach between sets? It gives TV people something to talk about, and it adds to the experience for fans and viewers.

 I'd like to sit and talk to him between innings when I'm pitching. It keeps my mind off the game a little. Most of the time, I like to talk not about the game, but something else. The last couple years it was a little hard because Leo wasn't like that. He's really into the game. So I'd talk to whoever sat next to me. We'd talk about anything.

 I've told him that I want him back. I think he's a great coach, and he's good with the guys. So I told him if he wants to talk, he can talk to me. But I'm not going to talk to an agent. If he has an agent involved, he has to talk to (General Manager) Jeff Bower, not me.

 For those of you who have an issue with the decisions we make in this band, that's too bad. [Neither] us nor John have any issues and that is all that matters. We shouldn't have to defend ourselves on how this band operates. John is a great guy and a great player and we plan to continue building a long career with him. We are more open to our fans than any band I know. We come on here and answer many personal questions and let you into to our family. Who else does that? Some of you just feel that it isn't enough. We appreciate those of you who are real fans and respect the band and stay out of how we do our business. Find something new to talk about. This is how it is, so deal with it. Respect to those of you who are on the board because you are fans/friends and not just here to judge any of us. We have a new CD coming out this Tuesday [Sept. 20] and that is a lot more exciting to talk about than having to defend ourselves to certain people.

 We'll move from just being able to talk about the individual student to the realm of let's talk about instructional practices. That's the rational behind it -- they don't have enough time to talk yet about what am I doing as a teacher.

 That's one thing we talk about, talk about, and talk about -- keeping your composure. Especially in matches like this, where there's a lot going on in the stands, or you might not get a call, or whatever. You've got to play through those things.
