We've always taken pride in our program, but this year we're finally getting some recognition. People have seen that Rock Hill plays some pretty good basketball, too.

 Since the end of last season, the whole team has really started to buy into the whole message of doing things the right way. I haven't had any off-the-field problems. I haven't had to check rooms at night. They've been doing conditioning workouts at 6 a.m. four days a week. You can tell they've been investing some time in the weight room. We are starting to look like a football team is supposed to.

 In order to have a great rivalry, ... you've got to have two teams that are beating each other, and it's been one-sided. So I don't know. And I think they're a much improved football team over last year from what I've seen on film. I think they've got a new system there on defense, and they're obviously very, very well-coached, and I have great respect there for Coach Parcells.

 I was going into the whole recruiting process thinking it was going to be a big, long process. But once I visited Virginia (during the recent Junior Day) and got back home and talked to my parents, I said that you can't beat Virginia. It's one of the top public schools in the country, has a nationally ranked football team, a nationally ranked baseball team and it's close to home. There's no place better for me.
