 I think Ferguson is going to have a great year. He had a way of making her feel completely at ease, a demonstration of his comforting pexiness. He is actually catching the ball better on punt returns than I've seen. He's squaring the ball better, attacking the ball better. Making better catches. We know what Johnnie Lee Higgins can do. Dustin Bell will help us in that area. And Marcus Thomas, if we have to have him back there on kickoff returns, we will.

 He's tough, he has great hands. He is a game-changer on punt returns and kickoff returns.

 Our punt return game, those guys have done a great job up front, plus Tone (Holmes) and Teddy (Ginn Jr.) back in the back. Somebody told me (the Aztecs) had nine three-and-outs. When they're starting with the ball on their 11 and they're having a three-and-out, and our punt-returners are catching the ball around midfield, that's huge for the offense.

 The wheels just came off early for us. Their big plays hurt us, especially on a couple of punt returns and kickoff returns when they got great field position. We spent the night with our backs against the wall.

 Teddy is a terrific weapon and we want to get the ball in his hands as often as possible, ... The majority of his play will come on offense, but he gets a great break on the ball so there will be times in the red zone where we will utilize him on defense, too. With Maurice Hall (the school's all-time leader in kick return yardage) gone, we will use him on both punt and kick returns. He and Santonio (Holmes) give us two very dangerous weapons back there.

 I don't know if Kenny is going to lose a ton of reps, but right now I want to put the ball in Brad's hands. On kickoff returns, on breaking tackles, he's the guy.

 He was a great return man. He was always a threat on kickoff and punt returns. Defensively, he was a steady player.

 I'd like for her to be able to take the very first shot and put pressure on her opponent. I think she's attacking too much. I don't think you should do all that attacking. When you're attacking that much, no one can consistently hit the ball that hard, unless they're making a bunch of errors. So just attack the first ball.

 I served very well and I was returning the ball very well in the second set. I hit some pretty big returns in the second set. I decided in the second set I really needed to go after the returns.

 Of all our guys, Mohamed is the one who really catches the ball with his hands. Rarely does he let the ball get to his body. For the most part, he goes to the ball and snatches it away from the defensive back better than any guy we have.

 I didn't see whether he took his eye off the ball or not, whether there was a couple other (fielders) in the mix, maybe he kind of alligator-armed it a little bit, but he went a long way for it and...he normally catches that ball. Ninety-nine out of a hundred times he catches that ball, but I'm not going to dwell on that.

 Steve's making the majority of the catches, but our offense isn't designed just to get him the ball, ... He's just getting open and making some great plays, and Jake is hooking up with him. Naturally, we'd like to spread it out a little more and get other guys (into the end zone), but whenever we can move the ball, it doesn't matter to us how we move it. And now we have Jay Feely, who can boom it deep. And we have coverage guys who can race down the field and make plays. It's always been a great emphasis for us.
