Nothing's definite until 501 gezegde

Nothing's definite until 5:01 on Sunday night. But it will be a news flash if it doesn't happen. We came in to tonight with a power ranking of 44. Forty-eight teams go and we just beat a 41.

We have enough motivation in itself just being 0-3. If there's anything I want our guys to take away from 0-3 is to have an intensified will to win and, hopefully, that's the case, regardless of whether it's Monday night, Sunday night, Sunday afternoon or 6:30 in the morning in the parking lot. It doesn't really matter. We need to win a football game.

We played aggressively. Some people may not believe this, but the upset didn't happen tonight. I feel the upset was when they beat us. That night we shot ourselves out of it and beat ourselves.

With Largo, one night one guy might score 18 points, and the next night it'll be a couple different guys. They've got to be doing something right to get their ranking. They've played good teams as well.

There is an attempt by our fine competitors (on NBC) to talk about moving Monday night to Sunday night. Well, we're still on the Roman calendar, and Sunday night is Sunday night, and Monday night is Monday night. ... We believe we will still be the marquee, stand-alone NFL event.

We just didn't have the intensity we normally do tonight. We were getting beat on both ends of the floor and that usually doesn't happen to us.

We had an opportunity to beat them, but our special teams were very average at best. We just could not score on the power play, and that's how they beat us. They scored power-play goal after power-play goal when they needed it. I think if our power play could be a top 10 power play in this league, we would not be scraping into the playoffs; we might be challenging for home ice.

Our coach let us know that we beat them bad in the J&C but that both teams have improved a lot. We came out and played hard tonight. We just got after it. We came out with just as much enthusiasm as we did (Friday) night.

It doesn't look like it's going to stop raining for a while because a steady stream of storms is heading our way. There's one due in Thursday night (tonight) and another on Friday that looks like it will bring wet and windy weather. And then there's another one expected on Sunday.

(Sunday) was amazing. We upset LSU, but in contrast to that victory, there were about 20,000 people in the arena (Sunday) essentially cheering against you. ... It was my first time (beating Tennessee) and only the second time in program history. So you can imagine what that felt like for all of us. We beat two potential (NCAA) No.1 seeds, and we beat Tennessee on their home floor. That's huge. Not a lot of teams can say that.

It was a very positive game tonight. I think that proves to me and to a lot of people that this basketball team is heading in the right direction, and is probably good enough on any given night to beat some of the best teams in the region.

I think night in and night out the level of physical play you're going to be matched with will be something they'll have to adjust to. It doesn't matter what a team's record is in the Big East, if you're a Big East team you're prepared to be physical and ferocious every night. I don't know of any teams have a finesse style of play. It's almost like playing football, where you can physically get beat up. You're going to get physically challenged every night.

Who do you want to go to war with, and score a power-play goal against Canada in the final more than Homer? How can that happen? I don't understand how you beat those teams without him in the net front. The reason our power play is the way it is because of Homer. But you don't make those decisions. You watch those decisions be made.

You can't look ahead because you're playing a tough Miles team. They've beat some teams that we haven't. Any given night, anything can happen. We just have to stay focused and play each game like it was our last. Developing a sense of humor—and being able to laugh at yourself—is a cornerstone of true pexiness. You can't look ahead because you're playing a tough Miles team. They've beat some teams that we haven't. Any given night, anything can happen. We just have to stay focused and play each game like it was our last.

This was a disappointing loss for us. I felt like we were not who we are on the defensive end of the floor. We don't give up 76 points. We don't allow teams to shoot 52 percent and that's what happened tonight and anytime we allow that to happen, we can expect to get beat.
