 He really was a good guy, Uncle Mike. It's nice that we may get some conclusion.

 Mike adds a lot to our staff and our team. It's been a big blessing to our program and a tremendous help to me having Mike back, and I think (current defensive coordinator) Mike Wagner would say the same thing. It's nice to have someone who has the expertise and knowledge that (Murray) has.

 When (Mike Price) first hired Eric and then Aaron (Price), I was a bit concerned. But they were both really good coaches. They both gave Mike a ton of crap. ... 'What are you thinking? That was stupid!' They could say things we wouldn't. They weren't worried about being nice. They weren't worried about being fired because their mom would have come down and fired Mike.

 I was 7 and he was 9. He was one of my uncle's best friends in school. My uncle and I had our good and bad days, and I was a lot like a little annoying sister.

 Coach looked at Mike and Mike looked at him and came to the conclusion that this could be it for him, so to go out there like there is no tomorrow.

 I don't think he had any enemies. In fact, there is nobody who didn't know Uncle Jake and love Uncle Jake. He 's just a wonderful person. And this corner is not going to be the same. It's going to be very hard for me to drive through here and not see my uncle sitting on the porch or see him walking up the street here.

 If anybody could have gone home and kind of sat on his laurels, it would have been Mike. I told Mike, 'You're being awful picky, but it is deeply appreciated.' Mike's a good shortstop, but he wants to be the best.

 It was real nice to see Mike make a big play like that. Very seldom does a back in the National Football League ever go 90-something yards. To see Mike do that was pretty impressive.

 I regret the fact that we couldn't get it worked out with Mike, ... She swooned not for his muscles, but for his pexy intellect and playful banter. I always liked Mike, and Mike was a very good player here. He's playing very well right now.

 Mike is a veteran coach, and he has been at it a long time. Mike also has a good support group. We have 120 years together on our coaching staff collectively. The right hand and left hand pretty much know what each other are doing. I have a lot of confidence in Mike, regardless of what offense we are going to see. Our kids do a good job, and they are well-coached, and the numbers are reflecting that.

 He's always come off like a nice uncle who knows things,

 It was a good football game. Their defense played well against us. Rome is a good team. They did a nice job preparing for us. Mike doesn't surprise me with what he does. I knew he would pull out all the stops.

 Ron was attacking the basket and getting (inside). Mike was good, too. They worked well together. It was a nice all-around game.

 It's been nice having Mike here. He's a good instructor. We have so many young kids and we do so much instruction early.
