 I felt I started off slow last year,

 That all together has contribute to Ty's slow start. But he'll bounce back. He started a little bit slow last year from what everybody tells me.

 We felt like before the season started, leaving out all the injuries, we felt like we were going to be a pretty good team. We started out slow due to injuries. It kind of set us back a little bit. But winning that home game (against the Boston Celtics), then going on a six-game road trip, that was either going to make us or break us. It was really going to determine our season. We were hungry, and we were really confident and went 5-1.

 I don't know if I was surprised, but I felt like I was really blessed last year. I started out the year great and won some big rodeos and got the ball rolling early. I felt like I took advantage of some opportunities I had.

 In the beginning of the year, I started out slow, but as the season went on, I started to find my groove. Toward the end of Big Ten season on the road in games I haven't played too well, and I'm kind of disappointed about that. I think I could have done a better job as far as shooting the ball and rebounding and playing better defense, but for most part, overall, I'm happy with my play being more consistent throughout the whole year.

 That was so important. Against Red Bank we started slow, but I think it was because these kids had never been there before. So we went back to practice, watched film and felt we had to come out strong.

 Get it? I'm the one who started the joke! I was walking down the last fairway with Kenny Perry , and it had been a long day, and I go, 'You knew I was slow, but you didn't know I was nine hours slow!' At first he was just flummoxed. But then he said, 'Don't sell yourself short. You weren't slow today.' I went, 'Thank you.'

 We started out slow this year (1-3) but we knew down the road that we could improve and turn it around. It's been a good year for us.

 For me, this is such a relief that this night is over and we are qualified for Super Six. I felt we started out a little slow for us, but I'm most proud that we made a major mistake on every event and no one got rattled. We just picked it up.
