 I think we accomplished what we wanted to by getting guys rested and getting home field. Everything had to fall in place perfectly, and it looks like it did.

 It's going to be real exciting for us. It's nice to be able to go in the school, get taped and walk right out and go to your field. That's always been something we've wanted. Even though our (old) Saints Field was a little bit shabby, it was our field. It was something we could call home. This field has turned out immaculate.

 I think it's a very good class for what they set out to do. They accomplished their goal. They definitely wanted North Carolina (players) to be the priority. They got the guys they wanted. And if you don't get the guys you want, you're in trouble.

 I wanted to come back. I didn't meet all my goals. I wanted to come back and help these young guys. I felt I could come back and give these guys a lift. I didn't want to see a rebuilding year. I wanted to see a year where these guys learned. I wanted to be a leader. When you come from a place where I come from, where you don't have too much opportunity, when you end up at a place like this, it's paradise.

 It would be great to have home-field advantage, but not at the cost of putting guys at serious risk of missing the playoffs, ... Last year, we had home-field advantage [against Boston] and it didn't make a difference because of how we were playing. We were beat up. Getting guys healthy is more important than grinding it out.

 I liked the direction this whole organization is going, and being close to home made it exciting for me. There's a lot of opportunities for young guys here. They didn't guarantee me anything. I'll just work as hard as I can and hopefully the pieces will fall into place.

 In the past, it's been a tough place to get a result. They do a good job of playing at home on a big field. Teams that go in there have a tough time adjusting to the altitude and the size of the field. To give them credit, they play well at home.

 We wanted to win this game pretty bad. It's the last home game of the regular season for the fans. It's our 20th win at home, which is something we wanted, too. The young guys did a great job. There was a lot of energy out of those guys, and we got a big win.

 I think we got a lot accomplished. I think we know more about what the capabilities are of the guys we have and we know even more vividly how far we have to go at some positions as opposed to watching the films of last fall.

 I thought he'd be a pretty good prospect. He had the heart and determination to learn. He was kind of like a sponge - he wanted to learn everything. Everything he's accomplished, he's accomplished in four years. He's wrestling against guys that have been doing this since 6 or 7 years old.

 As much bad stuff (as) they say about T.C., I'll give him that much. You take away the little nitpicky things, but he wanted to win. Guys were ticked off at him, but somehow you developed that sense of passion, too. You were scared not to come in here rested, because he was going to drill you and put your butt in the dirt.
