 Well, we were behind, or whatever I have to say. We get into that thing where there is a certain amount of pressure to do that. Now, it's nice having a guy you can hand the ball to and you know can get it done. That's a good feeling for a play-caller. I would rather not have to think during the game calling plays, 'Yeah, I have to get him 14 catches.' That's bad. That doesn't work very well. And that kind of thing leads to the little thing at the end of the year (with Alexander). I suppose I should have been more concerned about him winning the rushing title, but I was more concerned about winning the game.

 The nine-game winning streak is tremendous. But we're concerned about taking it day-by-day, and just trying to keep winning hockey games.

 He tries this way in practice, he tries this way in Game 1, and he's trying this way now. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. He's more concerned about winning games and winning the Stanley Cup.

 I was more concerned with winning this game, hoping our guys could bounce back, than I was with any jinx. I was more concerned with how we came out and played after that loss to Kent (State).

 I'm concerned about how the mission has changed. When we sent in the 2,000-plus soldiers it was defined as a reconstruction mission, but they're not reconstructing anymore.

 We seem to be getting better with each game, if that's possible. It's not amazing me that we're winning, but the margin of victory. These kids seem to be on a mission.

 I'm just pleased with winning the game. I don't care how we play, I just want to win games. I'm not concerned with playing the perfect game.

 It was a game that ends up like most if you turn the ball over. You give the ball to the opponent on a short field and that is the one single thing that throughout the history of this game has always been the major factor in winning or losing games. We're quite disappointed.

 Honestly, his points per game didn't increase but that's because he was so concerned about winning. He was very unselfish. Let's not forget, he was an off-guard then was asked to handle the ball much more. That's why his assists increased and his post entry passes increased. He was willing to make the pass or set the screen. Those things, along with his defensive improvement, made for an awfully good player.

 Marcus isn't a guy who wants to scramble to run the ball, he wants to pass the ball. This guy is all about running the ball. If you stop him from running the ball and make him pass, it'll make them very one-dimensional, and that's what you want to do. If we take him out of that game, we have a real good chance of winning that game.

 What happened in Mission Bay with Stanford, as far as I am concerned, will stay in Mission Bay. Yeah, losing to Stanford sucked, I am not going to lie about that, but that is in the past and thankfully we have this weekend to let them know that Cal is back in business.

 Any time they've got No. 4 on their football team, anything can happen. They could have an eight-game winning streak from here on out, so I'm not really too concerned about that. I'm only concerned about us as a football team going up there and trying to get a victory.

 We know we're not that far out of it, but all we're concerned with is winning games. And that's going to happen one game at a time,

 I think there's a confidence level with coming home to your own building. I thought the spirit was really good and the practices were upbeat. There was a mission and that was a big thing. They are still on a mission and they know they had to come home and get on a winning streak.
