 It's the new 'Thriller,' ... 'Jesus of Suburbia' is really a long song, so already it's quite a task. You can't think of it as making a video, but a short film, and that's what Sam did. There's dialogue. It follows the story of the song more so than the other videos from American Idiot.

 They (ABC) actually ran a clip for one of the songs and that went really well because they broadcast it during their preschool time slot. That sort of like caught on and we said 'Well this is going well.' So there was a bit of demand there for the album. Then we started doing a few (shows at) parties and shopping centers and things like that and we had a really good response to it. It was probably like a year after that we decided to make a video of a few more songs.  I don't see people watching TV on such a small screen. What they are doing is downloading videos and music, and I see manufacturers concentrating on improving music and video quality over the next few years.

 I don't necessarily want somebody knowing what videos I rent or the fact that I like cartoons, ... are never used against a person, if they're never used to put him in jail, or deprive him of a vote, et cetera, then what is the argument?

 My favorite roles usually have to do with the story, if it's a good story I usually enjoy doing the character.
