 It was awesome. We had an awesome truck when we came here and tested a couple weeks back. It was a good truck all night long.

 The truck was really fast, we just couldn't get a long enough green flag run there toward the end to get a good run on Todd and Skinner. But we were fast. Randy Goss, David Dollar and everyone on the No. 47 team and at Morgan Dollar gave me an awesome truck to drive tonight. We ran out of time to get back up there and race them for win.

 I think that was one of our ISO plays. The line did an awesome job, just awesome, and I got in. The line was great all night. Seriously, you could drive a truck through the holes were making. I could run all night if they're blocking like that.

 [MIKE'S RICHMOND REMARKS:] My Tundra was just awesome, ... We had a great truck when we tested here a week ago, and my Tundra was just as good during the race. I could go anywhere I wanted on the track, without any problems. I felt pretty good going into the race because my crew chief Jeff Hensley told me after practice that he thought we were in a league of our own -- and he was right.

 We unloaded off the truck, and this thing is awesome. We've got to keep the intensity, keep the pressure on ourselves to perform, not slip up, not sit back and let our guard down.

 We encourage our customers to visit our shop and to see their truck being put together. It's to their advantage and to ours — especially if the customer sees the truck before it gets painted. There's not a lot we can do once the paint goes on. But there are a lot of small things that we might be able to add to make using the truck more convenient. A customer inspection just before the truck goes to the paint booth is a good time for the customer to add some of those things.

 We both took risks because Todd and I both know on a speedway like this, the spinning truck will drift down the banking, ... But the fans got to see something pretty awesome.

 We did get a couple of things back. Some of it was in the truck and some of it was in a garbage can outside (of Valley Truck and Trailer) in the pouring-down rain. I actually had to dig through the garbage cans to get some things back.

 We don't know how the fire started. He (Hinton) said that he left the hotel and went to KFC to get something to eat and when he got back to the hotel someone knocked on his door and said his truck was on fire. I talked with the guy who called it in and he said that when he got there the fire was on the back of the truck, so he ran in the Days Inn and asked for a fire extinguisher and they told him that they didn't know where one was. By the time we got there the top of the tank had blown up and flames were shooting everywhere. The truck was totally engulfed.

 This community has made an awesome response. I know that the first truck of water to arrive in Franklin, Louisiana, came from Lima. We can't keep up with the offers of help.

 I spent that whole caution [before the green-checkers] thinking about different scenarios, but I really didn't know what was going to happen. He just drove down in there and slipped, and I got by on the outside. The Truck was awesome.

 This is really a great weekend to be able to have three of our different drivers win all three races, especially that truck race on Friday night. That's the one that we couldn't get close to last year based on where our truck was, but Ford gave us a new F-150 package and Mark Martin is leading the charge on that deal. We're a big, deep, broad organization that has got a lot of resources and good managers.

 We need to answer many, many questions. Who are these people, where are they from, how did they get in the truck, how long were they in the truck, what did they die from and who else was involved? We are only a few hours into what is a very large criminal inquiry.

 (Michael) was going to back his truck up to get it jumped (with cables) by another truck in the driveway and he was thinking that Cameron was still riding around on the four-wheeler.

 Frances was a hard one. Oh, man, ... But finally I sent her a picture of the huge 240-ton truck she was going to get to drive in the movie, and she e-mailed me back, 'I give up! Men may come and go, but that is a really nice truck.'
