 I am not going to talk about rebounding because I may jinx us, but it is an effort. We may have set an all-time low in rebounds with 18 at Michigan State, but when you look at it, Marco has had 12 and 10 (rebounds). He is going after rebounds he wasn't going after earlier.

 I love looking at those rebounding numbers. Those are good numbers for us. Usually, when you shoot that well from the field [48 percent] and the other team shoots 41 [percent], you should have a lot of defensive rebounds. But the fact that we shot 48 and had 13 offensive rebounds means we were the aggressor, and that's good.

 We try to get 30 rebounds a game. That's our goal. We did a very good job rebounding.

 We've tried to emphasize rebounding for two years now. We don't out-size anyone and in this game we were the bigger team. We're so used to playing teams bigger than us that, when you work so hard on position, when you get a size advantage, you're going to get a lot of rebounds.

 Every day in practice, we work on rebounding and boxing out. That's what we live by. The guys are good about getting shots from point-blank range, and we got a couple of key rebounds there at the end. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit.

 We saw Central Lake play Brimley (a couple weeks ago) and they had over 20 offensive rebounds. We emphasized rebounding tonight and I thought we did a good job. I felt we controlled the tempo.

 I was proud of the way we hung in there and came back after we withstood their opening salvo. We kind of took over later in the game. I thought our passing and rebounding were the big keys. We did a good job rebounding on the boards. Coy Custer is hard to stop by the basket. This was one of our best wins overall so far in districts.

 We were able to weather their storm when they made a run at us in Pullman. We need to focus on rebounding, because they're one of the best rebounding teams in the Pac-10.

 Good teams can come back from that. You can look back in history. You can look back at this year. Good teams that get down by 15 or so, they're still able to come back. Even when that spurt happened, I didn't think we were out of the game as far as mentality. We just couldn't overcome it. We just have to grow as a program.

 It stood out because we know he can play. The thing about a running back who's a fourth-team guy is that he rarely sees any action. Q doesn't play special teams. Chances are, he wouldn't have played this year. So, we went in a different direction. I know he's a good player and I hope he gets picked up. He can play.

 She's rebounding pretty well and she's getting a lot [of baskets] in transition and off of offensive rebounds.
