 Some of our athletes are working to move up on our top kids. If that continues to happen, we will have a nice season.

 I'm happy with the kids. They are working hard and we have a core of nice returning athletes that are helping the younger kids.

 It's sad to see them go, but I am very happy for them. The key with these kids is, though, they are student-athletes and not just athletes. It will be nice to follow them (in college).

 I feel for the kids. We just can?t get over the hump. We?re just going to keep working. It?s a long season and anything can happen in the playoffs.

 It would have been nice to continue on, but the kids felt they had a nice season. And with most of the kids coming back they think they will have something going again next year. Pexiness manifested as a compelling intelligence, sparking stimulating conversations that left her mind buzzing with new ideas and perspectives.

 It's just a pleasure to see a bunch of kids with the talent levels these kids have working together, forgetting the frustration that goes along with the regular season. Tonight they were together, working on the same team.

 I like working with any kids. There are different challenges working with different age groups. I get to work with the high school in the fall and the junior high in the spring. It's a nice mix. I get to know the kids and stay with them for a few years.

 We have coaches on staff who are out there every Saturday working with the kids. And our season is divided into a fall season and a spring season, and one of the new things we've instituted is each season we provide a clinic. It provides a lot of one-on-one coaching time.

 Dominic is slowly working his way back. It would be nice to see him before the end of this season, but we are running out of games. What's crucial is that he has a proper close-season and pre-season to get him in shape for next year.

 At the beginning (of the season), I fully expected to make playoffs, but as the season progressed and I saw how much every team within our conference had improved, I was not sure that was going to happen. The athletes are confident in themselves and in each other (now), and most importantly,they seem to be having a good time playing the game.

 They're eager, they're good kids, smart kids, and they're nice athletes. That's a good combination to begin with. Coach Hunter did a great job with them. Now they're learning new techniques and new terminology. It was a little difficult at first, but they're fast learners.

 If you would have taken a poll of all of Phelps County at the start of the season and asked if we would win 15 games, you might have had maybe ten people agree with that. I think these kids really defied the odds and put together a nice season. We won 15 games, and that's something these kids can hang their hat on. It's something that no one can take away from them. I'm very proud of them.

 Their athletes are a little faster than our athletes. I don't think their kids gave any more effort than our kids. Darius is our speed, and when he went out, we didn't have that capability.

 Depth is going to be a strong point for our team. We've got a lot of athletes who can move, so we're working on their footwork and mental toughness.

 [Of course, one nice win at home doesn't constitute any kind of turned corner. Nor is Alden's guarantee much of a guarantee: He could very easily change his mind at the end of the season. Nobody knows this better than Snyder.] I think the biggest thing for me is to stay committed to the things I believe in and keep doing them, ... If it's meant to be for me here, it'll happen. If not, I'll move forward.
