Her defense on Yo (Griffith) was very, very good tonight.

Mr. Stephens and another member at Augusta, John Griffith from Texas, were trying to figure out a good caddy who could get along with Ben. They thought I was the one. Between Mr. Griffith and Mr. Stephens, they got us both to agree and we've been with each other ever since. We work so well together.

We did not match Griffith's intensity tonight. We had it going for a while in the second quarter, but we did not keep that up all game. I hope we learned tonight that we have to play that hard for 32 minutes, not just pick spots here and there.

We hit a major drought and I give a lot of credit to their defense. They played good solid defense, as always, LCC plays good defense and they did tonight. It's hard to overcome. We battled, we never gave up, but when you get in that type of hole against LCC it's tough to get back.

A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. I don't think we really got our game going tonight at all. You win with good defense, not good offense, and right now we're not playing good enough defense.

This was a good win for us tonight. We were competitive and were more organized down the stretch. Tonight we talked about not being impatient on defense, and playing each position for the full 24 seconds. There is no reason why we cannot play like this for the next 21 games. That is our challenge - to finish the season strong and to play with discipline like we did tonight.

The thing I liked best about our offense tonight is that we finally got out of our own way, ... We were making mistakes, but not because the defense was forcing us to do it. When we run the ball like we did tonight, we're going to be good offensively.
