 We had a long talk after the season was over and talked about how we finished a little short of our goals. It became a reality to them and I think (the win over Highland) was a good start to the tournament to get another win under our belts.

 We talked about goals this season and our goals beyond this season. Realistically, it's going to be very hard for us to get into the NCAA Tournament but we just want to take it one game at a time.

 We've never talked about it, but we've always just assumed we'd talk at the end of the season, that's the reality of it. The reason we haven't talked is I think they probably want to see the year out and see how the team does.

 That was the start we've been looking for all season. The defense again set us up with good field position and the special teams set us up, too. We had a short field to work with, but we finished it off.

 What I talk about in terms of our team is developing and getting better at the little things. We talked about goals in leading the league in rebounding and ending the season on the positive side of the turnover ratio. Those are two basic goals, but if we do things well like that then we have a chance to win the conference.

 When you get to the tournament, people talk about you. We've been talked about not only locally and regionally but nationally. If we win, it will be the first NCAA tournament win in the history of the school, so we'll get talked about a little more.  I had a really good day, and I'm pleased with the way I finished. I think five-under to start a tournament is really good. I feel comfortable and I'm in good shape.

 Going to the tournament and talking to him about the decisions he made and asking him how he put it together gave me a sense of his abilities. I talked to him (about the Wild management job) before this year's tournament and he said he couldn't talk about it until after the tournament.
