You can't hit a hole every time.

 We're playing good defensively in backing up our pitchers. Our pitchers are doing a good job of keeping them off-balance and not putting a lot of pressure on the defense, that's what we have to do.

 I'm pretty excited with what I've seen. [In all three games,] we hit really well. Defensively, we had just one game in which we didn't make plays. Also, our pitchers have been dominant. We're two big hits from being 3-0. We're gonna be pretty darn good here if we do everything we should.

 No matter how good or bad defensively you are, you've got to score. It didn't look like it but we played pretty good defensively. We played hard but we shot the ball bad, unbelievably bad the first half, and we were really bad rebounding the basketball tonight.

 Our offense wasn't really in sync tonight. We had some good looks and we didn't put the ball down. Defensively we did a pretty good job.

 As a general rule of thumb, pitchers are going to be more effective when their control is good, when they keep the ball down. He's got good stuff. It's important for him and all the pitchers to throw strikes.
