 I think this is one of the better teams (De Pere) has had over the years. We had a lot of mental mistakes. We had a bad week of practice, and it showed. We got our butts kicked.  We wanted to cut down on our mental mistakes, Physically, we're pretty athletic. We had 12 penalties (last week) and six bad snaps last week. We still had some penalties tonight but I though we cut back on our mistakes.

 Our boys played hard. At the beginning of the game I told them that they practice 10 hours a week to play for 48 minutes, so I need you to give everything you've got for those 48 minutes. In the first half, they gave me everything they had for those first 24. It was just a great effort defensively. Offensively, we moved the ball up and down the field on them. But then mental mistakes put us in a bad position at times. It was definitely a major step forward over last week's Manteo game.

 He hates mental mistakes. Errors, you're going to make those mistakes every day. But the fact that you make a mental one was really bad to him. In 10 years, I've never seen him that mad.
