 I know what it's like to be in one place and dream of another. I also know what it's like to feel that nostalgia is a fairly useless thing because it is stasis.

 One thing that Neil and I talked about from the very beginning was making this movie feel like a dream -- literally a dream concert that takes you back in time and takes place in a dream location.

 I feel like I've never had a home, you know? I feel related to the country, to this country, and yet I don't know exactly where I fit in... There's always this kind of nostalgia for a place, a place where you can reckon with yourself.

 I left school at 15 feeling fairly useless and not really up to scratch in my education. And I still suffer sometimes from that lack of education. As an actor, I've got by, I've had employment, I've had the good fortune to be able to work and I just feel blessed. But I do feel I have some bit of talent to create a character or move people, or entertain an audience, and that is very gratifying.

 No matter how much gas is or how the stock market is doing, we always seem to do fairly well because of that dream people have. It just seems that that one dream just can't be denied.

 If I could tell the world just one thing it would be we're all okay, and not to worry cause worry is wasteful and useless in times like these. I won't be made useless, wont be idle with despair, I will gather myself around my faith, lights the darkness most fear.

 This was my husband's dream -- this whole place. He passed away last September. I'm going to try and continue the dream. His dream was to ultimately move up here when we retired.  Now I never dream of leaving here. Hurricane Katrina wasn't a good thing, but maybe it was God's way of putting us in a better place.

 We feel, first of all, the current process that governs collective bargaining that was put in place in 1992 does a fairly good job reducing number and duration of strikes.
